Can confirm the mod works still as long as you can follow the instructions in the multiple READMEs. Found an issue doing a story mission The Big One, after using the drill to excavate into the bank vault you need to throw 2 sticky bombs to blow open the gated doors and the lingering fire ends up killing one of the crew members lol
