hello, sorry for the late reply! this application is designed to disable the mods, so that you can play in the single player mode without mod or go online without risk, to then be able to reactivate them in comfort.
obviously you could also rename the files by yourself, but I think this is more convenient, since you have to put the game directory once and click a button to rename, maybe you could put the application on the desktop to do everything quickly ..

sorry late reply, this year I have an exam and I have to study .. you just need to insert scripthookvdotnet2 and scripthookv.ASI in the GTA 5 folder, then create a folder called "scripts" and insert the menu inside it.
I have a proposal for you..
if you are interested write me in private
I checked the application code and it's all right, I also tested the application in person many times and it works very well for me!
Two things came to mind:
1) I don't have the steam version, that's why I can't try it, but it could be that in the steam version the GTA5.exe file is not present, therefore the application, not finding it, gives error.
do you have the steam version?
2) you may have the game not original.
in any case, the application has no problems, if that error comes up it is because the file GTA5.exe does not exist in that directory.
So I ask you to double check the correct directory.
if the directory entered is correct and that error still appears, it means that for some reason there is no GTA5.exe in your gta directory.
I'm still releasing an update that includes another search parameter before giving the error.
your comment is useless, if the file has 500+ downloads and I like 5, it is not the application that does not work, you are the one who cannot use it. I don't publish things at random, I tested it before. You may have selected the wrong directory, or you have the non-original game (on that I haven't tested it since I've never had it) anyway, the problem doesn't come from the application.
