1. I downloaded the client files through the link in the description (the pydio hosted files)
2. Extracted the necessary files into the scripts folder in the GTA main directory
3. Created a ClientSettings.xml (in a text editor of your choice) and added it to the Scripts folder as well. You can download my ClientSettings.xml with a hopefully working config here: https://jumpshare.com/v/YYvCxtZTwVF9ITQXmY8T
4. Started the game and could now access the server browser and join games, pressing F9.
That still leaves me with how to set up a server myself, so the latency is bearable. I can host (start the gta server.exe process), but I can't join or announce that server to the masterlist to join thorugh the ingame server browser. Is anybody able to share some tips on how to create a server?
Anyone made any progress with this? The installation instructions in the description don't refer to 0.9.3.1 . The tick/character error still persists and everyone contradicts themselves in the comments with different masterservers and instructions. Is there ANY comprehensible step by step tutorial for the newest version? Or any comment from the modders that states that the mod is not working currently? Maybe the newest GTA updates wrecked it.
