@Rasputin That's the way my mods are currently being used. The problem is that I am one for keeping my game as "vanilla" as possible. I like it when it doesn't look modded. You know when everything fits in just right?

The way GTA's campaign works is by trying to make you discover new cars and car-tiers as you progress (unless you play Michael, of course), and not having my modded cars follow along that path triggers my OCD. Some of the mods I tried actually look pretty good in-game, and don't feel like they were added in there. It feels like they belong there. The scaling, the shading and reflections, and of course the level of detail in the different meshes are all on par with the vanilla cars. And not having them in missions is just sad.

Although I'm interested in learning how you spawn them in traffic. Are you using any kind of traffic mods or whatever or do you edit a specific file yourself to make them spawn in the different wealth-based areas?

@Neophyte Industries Hi I just created an account to ask you a small question since someone told me you're the boss in car modding: I am trying to replace a vanilla car (in my case Dominator) with a mod car that is meant to be an add-on. I was able to replace the Dominator files with the mod's ones, but then there are the veh_mods. I can replace them, but the modded car as way more options than the Dominator, so I'd have to first: list them somewhere, which from my understanding should be carcols.ymt (which is encrypted) and probably update some transforms somewhere seeing that when I override the vanilla veh_mods with the modded car's the different modifications are all out of place and completely unaligned. There is also the problem of the different meshes not being labeled the same way so when trying to apply an exhaust the default hood would be removed and the old exhaust staying, the game thinking I just replace my hood with a new exhaust line.

I am not asking you to take my hand and carry me through it, but if you could point me in the right direction that would be extremely appreciated.
