After almost a year in development, I finally feel it's ready to be released - LSSD Pack Extended 2.0. It is composed of 23 vehicles, which are split between 5 themed sub-packs, and each of them can be easily disabled if it's not for your liking.
Most vehicles were based on or inspired by LA Sheriff Department fleet, from a promotion van and retro cruisers, to a heavy off-road truck and few truly unique show-cars. I've been inspired by real vehicles, but tried not to copy them down to a bit. A good match with game standarts, diversity and uniqueness were my primary goals, hope you'll enjoy the result.
This mod is an expansion for 11john11's awesome LSSD Pack. This Extended pack follows the same overall styling and design choices. LSSD Pack is not required for my mod to function, but is highly recommended for the best experience.
To prevent issues:
- SirenSetting Limit Adjuster is highly recommended for this mod to prevent lighting ID conflicts, which can make emergency lights look wrong if you have many other mods.
- A custom gameconfig.xml, Packfile Limit Adjuster and HeapAdjuster allow you to avoid most crashes and other common problems with GTA 5 mods - please install them if you're modding your game extensively.
Features:
- Customisation, extras and multiple liveries allow most vehicles to be changed to your preferences and look diverse. This will help with immersion, no matter if you are the one chased by LSSD or are a cop yourself.
- Edited sounds and sound configs give few vehicles unique engine sounds and sirens, which can be changed to your own without affecting other models.
- Custom handling configurations make driving experience unique for every vehicle.
- Detailed interiors and equipment let you play immersively even in the 1st person view.
- Ambient scenarios will make sure these vehicles appear naturally in the game world.
- Handmade LODs put relatively low load on game engine, while maintaining good details in the distance. No vehicles will disappear when you go 50 meters away.
Models and their "spawn codes":
- sheriffcont - Vapid Contender
Heavy-duty off-road truck, for the roughest of terrains and the toughest of suspects.
- sheriffheavy - Vapid Sandking XL
Lightly armored tactical pickup, or an unmarked Aerial Support Unit, or a massive patrol cruiser, or an sneaky unmarked. It's your choice.
- sheriffslick - Vapid Stanier (Beater)
Make a mistake and your sergeant will assign you to this one.
- sheriffintc - Vapid Torrence
Trusted workhorse of many police agencies across the US these days.
- sheriffscoutold - Vapid Scout w/ Arjent lightbar
SUV brother of the Torrence, if you've been to LS you saw one of these. An older model, saved from 11john11's LSSD pack.
- sheriffoffroad - Vapid Sadler Sport
The most GTA law enforcement vehicle, thanks to its concealed machine guns with a load of lead for non-compliants.
- sheriffscout2 - Unmarked Vapid Scout

- sheriffghost - Bravado Gauntlet A/C

- sheriffenduro - Nagasaki Enduro

- sheriffblista - Dinka Blista

A wagon-body land barge with, as a trend of the era - way more engine than it needs. Can take a doggo for a fun ride.
- sheriffmoon - Declasse Moonbeam

- sheriffvanold - Brute Boxville Retro
Service van for when fire comes from the sky.
- sheriffsparrow - Nagasaki Sparrow
Modernised Korean-era surveillance helicopter. Well, at least it can fly.
- sheriffbuzzard - Nagasaki Buzzard

Notes and disclaimers:
- Bugs and dealing with issues - I cannot guarantee you a bug-free experience, however I can say for sure that this mod had been thoroughly tested before release, and many serious issues are most likely to be on your end. Don't hesitate to ask for support, though, we will try to help you as much as possible.
Please report any found bugs, I will be very thankful if your input would make this mod better.
- Use of assets - I allow you to use my creations - models, textures, configs. For all others' works, please ask respective creators personally. See the credits list, linked above.
- Your edits - Please-please-please - no need to rip parts from these models. Ask me for dev versions of assets, I'll be happy to share them if possible. That simple rule would save your time off dealing with random bugs and issues on your models, will allow me to provide support and give an advice when needed, and would keep us away from dramas over permissions and such.
- FiveM and other multiplayer mods - You're allowed to use this mod on FiveM servers. No need to ask for a permission. However, I would appreciate a lot if you let me know if this mod is going to be used in public multiplayer game. Any photos, videos or other content from your server would be much appreciated.
- Multiplayer support - I won't be able to help you with most FiveM issues, as I barely know anything about this platform. Please read related forums for solutions.
- Reuploads - Re-uploading this mod to other websites is allowed, but gta5-mods.com is and will be the only place where the mod gets maintained regularly and is 100% safe to download and install.

This update is a complete overhaul of <b>everything</b> in the pack, starting from the models and equipment to vehicle and sound configs. Too many changes to list here in details, please download and compare the versions yourself c:
rumbler go hard
@sheriffmod-1lspdfr will go even harder in the upcoming minor update, hehe
Fucking legendary pack
@SuperTriniGamer never expected such epithet for it hehe. thanks a lot :P
@w.. You're welcome lmao. Honestly it is. That Voodoo has me in AWE
Just one more thing, about the voodoo in the thumbnail, the Black and white photo, what is the name to spawn it?
Sorry for the spam but I just got it spawned, how the F*CK did you get the siren to have a custom wind down siren? This truly is legendary
@SuperTriniGamer took me quite some time hehe, it was done through .rel sound configuration files editing. It's still not perfect by any means, looping is somewhat choppy and I am still working on it. Hope to further develop custom manual sirens either in updates for this pack or in the EMS pack we're working on now.
@w.. Yeah, there's a small cut at the end of the loop, but it's still incredible how you were able to include the wind down sound and the beginning loop being different to the actual looping loop. I think once perfected it would be a great candidate for a vintage style pack.
When the extended version of the LSPD please...
@byrober55 as soon as you make it :)
LSSD Coming with that vehicle when I got Wanted Level?
@Pigs5542onduty only if you add them into dispatch.meta file.
Oh.
@w.. Is it possible to get the Moonbeam to spawn with the lightbar? Edited the extras in the vehicles.meta and it still won't spawn with the lights.
@dtab96 in the next update of the pack it will spawn with lightbars. That's not a bugfix, I just rethought the idea of this model.
For now you can remove FLAG_EXTRAS_SCRIPT from vehicles.meta to make it spawn with the lightbar sometimes, and to make it always spawn also add EXTRA_9 to RequiredExtras line a little below Flags.
@w.. I had already tried all that and it still wasn't working before asking you. But I just figured out why it wasn't spawning. I had put Flag_Extras_All and for some reason, the lights wouldn't spawn with that. So i removed that and it would only spawn sometimes. I figured out I had to remove Extra_1 from the RequiredExtras. It was blocking it from always spawning. Thanks for the help though. I had already given up on it but since you responded, I decided to try fixing it again and got it right.
I'm hesitant to say this bc nobody else seems to have this problem, but the pack just crashes the game on startup for me? I have a gameconfig that works great with all other vehicle addons, and both the packfile limit adjuster and heap adjuster, and I even deleted a bunch of other mods to see if there was any conflicts, but it still just crashes whenever it's enabled. Idrk what else to say, but some help would be awesome, if possible
Sorry, it's now working fine with vanillaworks extended deleted, it's great!
@TopicalTurtle oh that's great, my apologies for not replying in time.
Yea, multiple big mods like VWE can overcome even game limits that are increased by proper gameconfig, there's not much I can think of to fix that. Perhaps stripping bigger mods a little, removing unused vehicles etc. could help.
