Finance & Felony needed otherwise your game will crash!
-Recoil has been increased and the intensity depends on what type of weapon it is
-Each weapon's damage has been modified in regards to its caliber
-Modifed damage is balanced between realism and fun
-Every weapon's magazine size has been based off of its real life counterpart
-Amount of reserve ammo reduced
-Reloading is slower for each weapon
-Farther ranges
-Bullets will now have to travel, each weapon has its own bullet speed
-Tracers removed from most weapons
-Reduced hipfire accuracy
-Modified FoV for every weapon
-Explosions have more range and fires burn longer
-Handguns will only shoot one bullet when fired
-Unique names for each weapon
-Accuracy for the cops and gangs are more realistic
-Combat effiency is modified, giving gangs more reckless behavior while cops use strategy
-Every weapon's magazine size has been based off of its real life counterpart
-NPCs will not always call the cops when hearing gunshots or a fistfight
-Stealth kills are less likely to cause police attention
-NPCs have more weight to them when shot
-Realistic health for pedestrians, some die quickly and some can survive a big hit
-NPCs will be in an injured state after being shot or hit by a car
-Melee combat is faster paced
-Punching damage is decreased
-Health packs, armor, and guns need a button press to be picked up

You need OpenIV
Run OpenIV and go into editmode
-Go into INSTALL inside the mod folder
-Choose New Weapon names
-Drag and drop global.oxt into \update\update.rpf\x64\data\lang\american_rel.rpf

Then Go into Refined Weapons and Gameplay
-Manual install
-Drag and drop common and dlc_patch into update\update.rpf

After that close archive and exit OpenIV

Play GTA V


use the OpenIV package installer
-Install 1,2,2.5,3 in that order!

    Well this is a sad day. I was waiting for Gunrunners to come out before updating the mod so I could change those weapons as well. But with the news today looks like that won't be happening. I am deeply saddened by what happened to OpenIV.

    A mod nicely done ! I'm using it with Gang and turf mod and it's really challenging. But I would like to remove the limit of ammo. Sometimes I had to fight a lot (250 ennemies with great weapons and skills) and it could be really annoying to go back to the ammunition in the middle of the battle.
    Could you please tell me what is the file which modify the ammo storage on the character ? (And the file in case it's not easy to guess)

    Search <Item type="CAmmoInfo">
    Under it you will find the ammo limit for each weapon class.
    For example, under <Name>AMMO_PISTOL</Name>
    there is <AmmoMax value="36" />
    <AmmoMax50 value="60" />
    <AmmoMax100 value="100" />
    The max 50 and max 100 refer to the shooting skill level. So if you want to carry 9999 at the max level change
    <AmmoMax100 value="100" /> to <AmmoMax100 value="9999" />

    @State_of_Mind What file do I use to edit enemies' (cops/thugs/etc) firearm damage to the player? As if to return to the values to that of vanilla? I'd like to keep my damage to enemies the same as the mod though. Tried editing weapons.meta but it changed damage for everybody. I love your work. Thanks!

    Hey man, not sure if you are aware but the machine pistol animation is messed up in first person. It seems to aim properly but the run/arm flies all over the screen.

    Also, this mod for some reason, in conjunction with LSPDFR, breaks Sherrif/Park Ranger SUV's, as well as the FBI SUV. It's all the same vehicle, Deranger or something?

    Anyway it's a shame because I love this mod, it's awesome. Please update it and checkout that bug!!

    PS, this is JUST your mod and vanilla LSPDFR, no other mods installed.

    @DSG99 Yeah I will be updating. Yes the weapons are MK2 versions but they look completely different. They also have their own weapon files so I will be making them as completely new weapons.
