Refined Weapons and Gameplay 4.7a

Finance & Felony needed otherwise your game will crash!
-Recoil has been increased and the intensity depends on what type of weapon it is
-Each weapon's damage has been modified in regards to its caliber
-Modifed damage is balanced between realism and fun
-Every weapon's magazine size has been based off of its real life counterpart
-Amount of reserve ammo reduced
-Reloading is slower for each weapon
-Farther ranges
-Bullets will now have to travel, each weapon has its own bullet speed
-Tracers removed from most weapons
-Reduced hipfire accuracy
-Modified FoV for every weapon
-Explosions have more range and fires burn longer
-Handguns will only shoot one bullet when fired
-Unique names for each weapon
-Accuracy for the cops and gangs are more realistic
-Combat effiency is modified, giving gangs more reckless behavior while cops use strategy
-Every weapon's magazine size has been based off of its real life counterpart
-NPCs will not always call the cops when hearing gunshots or a fistfight
-Stealth kills are less likely to cause police attention
-NPCs have more weight to them when shot
-Realistic health for pedestrians, some die quickly and some can survive a big hit
-NPCs will be in an injured state after being shot or hit by a car
-Melee combat is faster paced
-Punching damage is decreased
-Health packs, armor, and guns need a button press to be picked up

You need OpenIV
Run OpenIV and go into editmode
-Go into INSTALL inside the mod folder
-Choose New Weapon names
-Drag and drop global.oxt into \update\update.rpf\x64\data\lang\american_rel.rpf

Then Go into Refined Weapons and Gameplay
-Manual install
-Drag and drop common and dlc_patch into update\update.rpf

After that close archive and exit OpenIV

Play GTA V


use the OpenIV package installer
-Install 1,2,2.5,3 in that order!

    Since i've installed this mod the electric shock pistol does not work in missions anymore, can't shock people with trevor while doing the "immigration patrol" and even with the lab mission for fib where you have to shock employee, i have to unistall it to proceed with story :(

    Sorry guys been busy. Ill be getting an update ready for the new patch, hopefully soon, ill tweak a few things and mpdify the new weappns, thank you for the rates. Since ive modified the wealpns in new ways some will not be able to use missions or may affec them in a negative way. Sorry about that but theres nothing i can do.

    This mod goes great w/ https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/naturalmotion-euphoria-oiv-kaai210-bravercoolio-jedijosh920, Combine those with a good realistic wound mod, shooting is more entertaining than it ever was. also appreciate the OIV for weapons compared to most mods.

    I reverted to clean install, started OIV and installed the packages in the correct order. Then I got err_gen_invalid crash on start. Any clue what I botched up?

    Wasn't really a fan of this mod. More recoil and lesser damage was all i noticed. Interesting ideas here though.

    ^ i had similiar situation
    but for me this mod had too slow reloading and not that much features
    now i love this mod , especially the double barreled shotgun animations and stats

    Right, question: where and how to I get the revolver? I picked it up of some dead guy, but after reloading the game - it's gone. Sad =(
    Also, is there a way to drop unwanted weapons?

    @gavthekilla Each weapon has it's own stats, and the damage has been increased. I'm not sure how the guns do less damage?
    @HeySlickThatsMe I'm not sure on what you mean by not many features, what would you like to see added? I like the slower reloading, so it won't be changing.
    @DirtSpray I'm not too sure why. Doesn't happen to me. Are any other weapons doing that? And is it all the time?
    @satyr It's all coming. I've just been able to start work on modding the new weapons. I've just been very busy lately.

    @State_of_Mind Amazing work my friend. I got a BUG REPORT to make : the way the character holds some of the weapons is a little off, the carabine rifle and the assault rifle are the ones that stand out the most. It looks like the character is using the RPG animation http://imgur.com/OlTOKQq . The pistol is also a little bit to high over the hand grip.
    Everything else is the bomb, keep it up !
