UEFA has returned!! Well...sort of. The original brawling styles from my Ultimate Enhanced Fighting Animation Mod have been packed together in this mod that brings a new feel to the game of GTA V!
What this mod is all about: (THIS IS NOT A SCRIPT)
Sleeping Dogs Combat Mod features 13 assignable brawling styles inspired by the game and world of Sleeping Dogs reimagined in the world of GTA V!! All styles have been added into all of the peds within vanilla GTA V, and can be assigned to any model of your choosing. (Addon or Story Peds)

BACKUP YOUR FILES:
I recommend you backup your update.rpf, common.rpf, x64 and x64c files before installing this mod. They are hefty files so be aware of your computer space, but this will help make sure you can revert quickly to previously edited files without reverting back to vanilla via uninstall package.
YOUR GAMECONFIG WILL BE REPLACED BY THE OIV's WITH THIS MOD, HOW TO UPGRADE ORIGINAL?:
This mod changes your gameconfig automatically to have the one necessary for this mod and uninstaller will add vanilla config. (After joining the discord community below, go to gameconfig-manual-edits) to manually edit your exsisting gameconfig if you desire to keep your previous config. or go to mod-fixes channel of our discord community to install updated test files. (If provided)

Replaced Glitchy Wing Chun Focus Attack with new paired directional throw anims
Fixed some homing issues in BS_MUAY_THAI clinch counters and focused attacks, also replaced moves with low hitboxes with some better alternatives.
Fixed a BS_MUAY_THAI focus attack randomly using wrong hit reaction bug.
Replaced one of BS_MUAY_THAI no target attacks to an unused animation, works better with flowing combos.
Fixed BS_KARATE long distance run up kick attack.
Replaced BS_AI forward short attack to no longer have phasing issue during combat.
Replaced a few buggy BS_STRIKER counter moves with new unused paired animations.
Fixed some broken takedowns amongst BS_AI style and tweaked homing of a few others for various styles.

INSTALLATION (HOW TO INSTALL): (read carefully please)
1. Read All Text Files in "STEP 1" folder
2. Install required game directory files available in "STEP 2" folder where GTA V.exe is located.
3. Open OpenIV, activate edit mode in right top hand corner, click "yes on popup" "Package Installer". Drag and drop the OIV file "SleepingDogsCombatMod.oiv" located in "STEP 3" folder anywhere into Open IV and then click "install" and "install into mods folder".
4. Load up game
I made it as simple as possible, but if you require installation assistance create a post in our "Assistance" forum in the Wolf Fire Modz Discord community:

Major File Change after 1.0.1: (PLEASE READ)
Previously the mod was experiencing crashes by users. Yesterday I updated the Google drive link with a new version that fixed the installer, as well as adding a new change to files that have completely removed the location crash bug. I created a new vanilla peds.meta located in the path mods-update-update.rpf-common-data that overrides the old peds.ymt. This means that in order to change styles from now on, you will want to follow this path instead when watching the tutorials located in the "extra how to" folder. Enjoy and have fun!!

Fixed some homing issues in BS_MUAY_THAI clinch counters and focused attacks, also replaced moves with low hitboxes with some better alternatives.
Fixed a BS_MUAY_THAI focus attack randomly using wrong hit reaction bug.
Replaced one of BS_MUAY_THAI no target attacks to an unused animation, works better with flowing combos.
Fixed BS_KARATE long distance run up kick attack.
Replaced BS_AI forward short attack to no longer have phasing issue during combat.
Replaced a few buggy BS_STRIKER counter moves with new unused paired animations.
Fixed some broken takedowns amongst BS_AI style and tweaked homing of a few others for various styles.

INSTALLATION (HOW TO INSTALL): (read carefully please)
1. Read All Text Files in "STEP 1" folder
2. Install required game directory files available in "STEP 2" folder where GTA V.exe is located.
3. Open OpenIV, activate edit mode in right top hand corner, click "yes on popup" "Package Installer". Drag and drop the OIV file "SleepingDogsCombatMod.oiv" located in "STEP 3" folder anywhere into Open IV and then click "install" and "install into mods folder".
4. Load up game

Major File Change after 1.0.1: (PLEASE READ)
Previously the mod was experiencing crashes by users. Yesterday I updated the Google drive link with a new version that fixed the installer, as well as adding a new change to files that have completely removed the location crash bug. I created a new vanilla peds.meta located in the path mods-update-update.rpf-common-data that overrides the old peds.ymt. This means that in order to change styles from now on, you will want to follow this path instead when watching the tutorials located in the "extra how to" folder. Enjoy and have fun!!

not working my dlc not enough i think
Does this MOD support version 1.36 of the game? Why am I stuck in the loading interface after installing it, and unable to enter the game? Is it due to a conflict with other MODs, or is there another reason?

@ak455861090 This mod is for game version 3351. Make sure you install this mod on fresh mods folder to make sure you have no other mods that are Disfunctional now or are trying to alter this mod's files. Just be sure to backup your addon mods to reinstall one by one later. Also, make sure you install the files from step 2 folder as they are meant to prevent crashes as well. Make sure too that this mod is installed after other mods. If the other mod changes weaponanimations, alters update.rpf content etc. then its incompatible. Script mods should be fine. However make sure that some of the scripts you were using are not outdated as many have become that way with the recent game updates and need to be removed or updated to the current version.
Hey man @WolfFire23309 uninstaller sadly failed :( Only reason i'm uninstalling temporarily is b/c the game crashes near grove street monorail entrance due to peds.ymt file. I noticed someone on your discord also mentioned the exact same location as a crash. Can you please look into it if you get a spare minute? ♥🙏
@mitto_backup The uninstaller is broken, try to use the one I posted on mod-fixes channel of my discord and let me know if it works. I remember someone brining this up. Oddly enough I checked that location on my PC and it did not crash for me. If you don't mind, what other mods do you have installed? If you can list them maybe I can spot an incompatibility that maybe someone else has installed as well and get to the bottom of this. If it's not from your all's end, I'll check my own mod files again. Maybe on my separate PC, because maybe I forgot something from my main PC files that I neglected to upload here that is causing those crashes. 😁👍
@WolfFire23309 Hi, would it be possible to install these combat changes JUST for a main character or a single/few peds? I wanted to see if only a few peds knew how to fight well as opposed to all of them
@AgentOrange Yes this is possible. You can watch a video I linked in the how to folder on where to change styles within the base game's peds.ymt. you can install a vanilla peds.ymt from outside of your mods folder (update-update.rpf-x64-data) and install it into your mods folder via the same path. After that, you can manually edit player_zero (michael) player_one(franklin) and player_two (trevor) individual brawling styles so they have a preferred style and all others in the world of GTA V will by default use BS_AI. Which is an "untrained" style, inspired by sleeping dogs "pedestrian" fighting style.
whats the most realistic one? i dont want some gang member knowing karate
@itsyaboi0008 That's the beauty of this mod. You can assign any brawling style you want to any model in the game which will affect the ones that spawn in the world. So by default, I set styles based on what thought felt best to their physical capabilities, but if you want to edit them manually to fit your play style, check the videos linked in how to folder and see the comment above yours to see how you can essentially get a clean slate where you can manually assign what fits your ideas. You don't want them to know BS_KARATE? Change it to BS_BOXER or BS_MUAY_THAI. Or just go with the basic BS_AI style and alter the main story peds to have anything else from that list. 😁👍
@WolfFire23309 Hi WolfFire! Thanks for taking the time to respond and go in depth on how to set this up in addition to the readmes. I've followed both your direction and the readme: I've replaced the peds.ymt file installed by your mod with the vanilla GTA V one from my own folder. I input the style for the peds I want and when I load the game up, it's a CTD on loading a save. When I reinstall your mod, it loads fine. Any tips? I'd have to change like 300 entries by hand otherwise lol
@AgentOrange Try editing the file in CodeWalker's RPF Explorer. Sometimes Open IV can corrupt the peds.ymt file after changes. Editing them within RPF explorer and clicking save should allow you to load in with the various changes. As for tips, I just say to be patient and take your time. It has a lot of entries for a lot of peds, so I suggest start with your favorite characters and alter them first. External ones later if you want to alter world spawns. Hope this helps!

@Mirunan I just updated the link to the fixed version. Download through the google drive link again and it will work now. For others experiencing location crashes, the new version added to my drive, has a fix for that too. Have fun guys!! 🔥🐺🔥
@WolfFire23309 It didn't work for me but that's fine! Thanks for the help! This new update fixes the location issue perfectly, but for some reason it's not registering or following the changes I make to peds.ymt. Whenever I change styles or use a different peds.ymt, it'll just use the default styles. it's only happening on this new version of the mod for me
@AgentOrange That actually is supposed to happen. I was tired of the peds.ymt going corrupt due to the OIV and installation. So I made a new one that overrides the base game and is called peds.meta and is in this path within the mods folder in open IV. It works the same as a peds.ymt so the tutorial still applies. New location: Mods-update-update.rpf-common-data. Hope this helps if you want to check it out.

I made the relevant changes and everything works PERFECTLY (I really should have read your updated readme, this info was also in it, so thank you for helping me) - the location issues are fixed, the styles are assignable, it really plays incredibly and fits pretty seamlessly into my game. I'd think my final question would be: Is there a vanilla peds.meta? ALSO (For those with custom addonpeds, you can change their default styles by going to mods-update-x64-dlcpacks, go to the folder your chars are in, click it, then go dlc.rpf-common-data and your peds.meta file is in there, you can change the brawling style & personality on the proper ped so someone like Deathstroke can automatically fight however you'd want him to)
@AgentOrange That's amazing!! I'm glad it's working for you so well now! The "peds.meta" was originally never a thing until I created a duplicate of the original peds.ymt and edited that with the information from the modder peds.ymt that was causing issues. It was simply a file format issue I guess cause once keeping all of the original data and converting to a peds.meta the crashes stopped. However the untouched peds.ymt is available in the same location and is no longer altered to fit my mod. Switching back to that won't bring back old styles and it'll more than likely cause crashes where it isn't compatible information. However you can alter the new peds.meta as you now know. Thank you for explaining that to readers! I'll add your tutorial to a text document and post in on my discord tutorial forum where it discusses adding styles to addon peds. 😎🔥
