Description
This is a racing mod powered by the users. You can easily create new races with the Map Editor mod. As of the 1.2 version, I included 4 default maps: Prison Lap, Horse Circuit, Alamo Goaround and Construction race

Best used with Faster AI Drivers mod by Eddlm!

Controls
M or Controller Back button - Quit current race.

Saving and Loading Races
All races are loaded from the scripts/Races folder. To create a race, you need the latest Map Editor mod installed alongside this mod. In the map editor, go to Create Map for External Mod, and then Create a Community Race. Then follow the next steps:
1. Place a ped - this will be your mission trigger/marker.
2. Place vehicles - these will be the race spawnpoints. Spawning different vehicle models adds them to the vehicle model pool.
3. Place markers in order for your checkpoints. The type of marker doesn't matter. Don't place markers right at a curve, because the AI doesn't have time to react and will drive right past the curve.
4. Place any objects you want, they'll be spawned in the race.
5. Save the map, it should be saved in scripts/Races/yourmap.xml
6. Open yourmap.xml with a text editor and edit the Name and Description tags.
7. You're done! Restart the mod to play your race.

Installation
1. Install ScriptHookV, minimum version released on August 23rd.
2. Install ScriptHookVDotNet v1.1
3. Download last NativeUI version from here.
4. Move all contents of the .zip except the sourcecode folder into your /scripts/ directory. If it doesn't exist, create one.

    @Guadmaz can you help me? When I try to save a race with 71 markers the game notifies me with "creating map for external mod". The map never seems to save and therefore I cannot create the race I want to. I'm also trying to create a race with the trophy trucks, however I don't know if this affects the community races. I understand that the Map Editor is your mod and so I'm hoping you can help me :)

    @yaboyjefke For me the AI seemed to be a lot better in the races when I downloaded the Faster AI Drivers mod: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/faster-ai-drivers

    @Guadmaz Same Problem as @Livid Toffee. Community Race just notifies "send map to external mod". The xml file isn't complete afterwards. Please take a look at it. Thanks.

    This mod is the best races mod for gta v but i miss ONE IMPORTANT THING! you need to use one of the cars in the selection. you can't use the car what your currently driving. Pleas update it! thanks for the these awesome mod!

    @Guadmaz: A fantastic mod which lets me keep the PC madness in GTA 5 from ending! It also enables me to play the 'Demolition Derby Race Pack' (v0.4), which is intense fun. Well done, rated 5*!

    @Guadmaz: I know you are busy but I figured that you might be able to help me with a bug which occurs in the Demolition Derby Race Pack (v0.4): I have been playing through the destruction derbies but the three races at the LS docks (simple figure 8, double figure 8 and jumping double figure 8 fixed) spawn only the opponents' cars (however many you choose), with no racers! The first race (simple figure 8) has the spinning sign with text, but the other two have no spinning signs with text; I try them but again, opponents' cars spawn but nobody to drive them! All other races work. I get this bug with ScriptHookVDotNet v2.9.2 or the latest v2.9.3 installed and I re-downloaded the entire mod with the same outcome. Must MapEditor be installed at the same time? I appreciate any help/advice you can give. Thank you.

    I really like this MOD!
    Just two question for future updates:
    - could you add a checkmark that appears on the flag icon after the race is won (like in storyline races)?
    - Any chance to make opponents a little bit challenging? (I won every race at the first try)

    Yeah with own car it will be better,we love this mod but... we need including own cars it will be better than the other street race mod,because as far as i check all race mod this is best race mod ive ever seen

    I hope someone can help.
    I got a problem, I have downloaded everything up to date. Community Races 1.3 and Map Editor 2.13. I also downloaded "Big One race" . Now I can press F7 and load the map no problem, but once its finished loading nothing happens, no start point no area to start the race or selector.. Nothing.. What is wrong? Do I need an earlier version of these mods?

    @Guadmaz it won't save when you put content it doesn't recognize like the DLC trophy truck (which the editor recognize so we are able to put, but saving fails!).
    please update library and tell us how to do it ourselves so we can put our add-on cars as well etc.
    an option to use "current car" so we can bring our own would also be great if it's possible.
