Five Commands V - Version 1.0 (Legacy & Enhanced)
FiveM-style chat commands for GTA V single player. Press T, type / and run any of 282 commands from a sleek neon text box, just like on a FiveM server. Live suggestions, argument hints and tab completion mean you never have to remember anything, and you never need to open a trainer menu again.
Why I made this
I play a lot of FiveM, and one of my favourite things about it is the chat box. You press T, type /dv and the car's gone. /fix and it's repaired. /tp and you're there. No menus, no scrolling through pages of options, you just type what you want and it happens.
Going back to single player meant menus again. Open the trainer, scroll, find the vehicle section, scroll, find the spawner, back out, find repair... Something that takes two seconds in FiveM took twenty. So I built Five Commands V to bring that same simple, fast command system into story mode. Almost everything happens inside one text box, so it stays out of your way until you need it.

- FiveM-Style Chat Box - opens with T, or / to start typing a command straight away
- 282 Commands - 445 including aliases, covering player, vehicles, weapons, world, teleports, peds, roleplay, HUD and developer tools
- Live Suggestions - matching commands appear as you type, with argument boxes that highlight the one you're on
- Tab Completion - vehicle, ped and weapon names, locations, weather, emotes, themes and more
- Command Chaining - /fix; /wash; /flip runs all three, /wait 1000 adds a delay
- Aliases - make your own shortcuts, e.g. /alias fresh /fix; /wash; /maxtune
- History - Up / Down brings back what you typed, even after restarting the game
- Realistic Driving - seatbelts (with windscreen ejection), cruise control, speed limiter, indicators, hazards, key-fob locking and the engine left running when you get out
- FiveM Street HUD - compass, street, area and postal next to the minimap
- Speedometer - with seatbelt, cruise, limiter and gear indicators
- Roleplay - /me and /do shown above your head, plus /ooc, /twt, /ad, /news, /roll and /coin
- Police RP - /cuff, /drag, /putincar, /unseat, /911 and /panic
- 81 Emotes - /e dance, /e smoke, /e cpr... plus direct shortcuts like /sit and /lean
- Developer Tools - copyable coords (vector3 / vector4 / json), dev overlay, entity info, hashes, IPLs, props and a /native caller
- Your Colours - black and white with a neon pink glow, or /theme cyan, purple, rainbow and more
- Fully Configurable - keys, chat box size and position, text size, font and every extra bit of UI can be changed or switched off in FiveCommandsV.ini
- Lightweight - one small DLL that only does work for the features you have switched on
Requirements:
- GTA V Legacy or GTA V Enhanced (story mode)
- Script Hook V
- Script Hook V .NET 3 (Legacy: 3.7 or newer, Enhanced: SHVDN Enhanced 3.9 or newer)
Installation:
- Open your GTA V directory
- Open the folder in the download that matches your game: "Enhanced" or "Legacy"
- Drag the contents of its "scripts" folder into the "scripts" folder in your GTA V directory (create one if it doesn't exist)
- Launch the game into story mode and press T
Controls:
- T - Open the chat box
- / - Open with / already typed
- Enter / Esc - Send / close
- Tab - Complete the highlighted command or argument
- Up / Down - Pick a suggestion while typing, or scroll history when the box is empty
- PgUp / PgDn - Scroll chat
- Ctrl + V / C / X - Paste / copy / cut
- Ctrl + L - Clear chat

- /autopilot 100 - the AI drives you to your waypoint (touch the pedals to take over)
- /cruise 120 - cruise control, cancelled by braking

Compatibility & Notes:
- Legacy and Enhanced each have their own DLL built for that game's Script Hook V .NET. Use the one from the matching folder.
- Postals: story mode has no FiveM postal map, so Five Commands V uses a fixed grid of 250m cells numbered 100 - 2499. /postal shows yours, /postal 1234 sets a waypoint.
- If T or / is used by another mod, change OpenKey / SlashKey in the ini, or type /openkey F6.
- Chat box too big or small for your screen? Try /uiscale 0.8, /chatwidth 0.3 or /chatlines 7.
- Don't want the extra HUD? /streethud off, /speedo off, or set them to false in the ini.
- Story mode only. Not for GTA Online.
Troubleshooting:
- Nothing happens on T: check that ScriptHookVDotNet.log in your game folder lists FiveCommandsV.dll, and that you used the right folder (Legacy / Enhanced) for your game. After a game update, update Script Hook V and Script Hook V .NET.
- A command doesn't do what you expect: type /help [command] for its usage.
- Log file: scripts\FiveCommandsV\FiveCommandsV.log
