Gang reinforcements and gang hits (The Beef) 1.4 reinforcements fix/hostility improvement

Welcome to the beef, this mod will make gangs remember you, spawn reinforcements when you attack them, and send gang hits to you when you're going about your business.
INSTALLATION:
You will need:
ScriptHookV - https://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/
ScriptHookVDotNet(Nightly) - https://github.com/scripthookvdotnet/scripthookvdotnet-nightly/releases
For my mod, just drag and drop the files from the Zip scripts folder, to your own game's "scripts" folder
MOD SETTINGS:
If you installed the mod properly, there should be a "The beef" folder inside your "scripts" folder, find it. Inside it there's a TEXT file called "settings.ini" open it with whatever text editor you prefer.
In it you will encounter this:

RANGEOFDETECTION=25
MINTIMEFORAHIT = 240000
MAXTIMEFORAHIT = 480000
REINFORCEMENTSENABLED=True
HITSENABLED=True
ENABLEHOSTILITY=true
ENABLETHREATTEXT=false
I will explain what every setting does:
RANGEOFDETECTION: The distance in meters at which the mod finds gang members that can call for reinforcements or see the player.
MINTIMEFORAHIT: the minimum time it takes for a gang that hates the player to send gang hits to him, counted in miliseconds.
MAXTIMEFORAHIT: the maximum time it takes for a gang that hates the player to send gang hits to him, counted in miliseconds.
REINFORCEMENTSENABLED: this dictates if reinforcements will spawn when you attack a gang, can be set to true or false.
HITSENABLED: this dictates if gang hits will be send to the player from gangs that have been attacked by him, this hits will happen in a timer defined by MINTIMEFORAHIT and MAXTIMEFORAHIT.
ENABLEHOSTILITY: this dictates if the gang members that already hate the player's character will attack him on sight, for convenience, they will only attack the player if they see him walking around, but not in a vehicle, can be set to true or false.
ENABLETHREATTEXT: this dictates if the gangs send you a threat text when you attack them for a first time, indicating that they will indeed remember you, attack you on sight and send hits to you (provided you have those features enabled) mostly cosmetic, disabled by default because I don't like this feature, but some might want it.

@shaolynnsantana You need the latest scripthookdotnet nightly and ScripthookV, if you're using enhanced I can't help you, figure that out my man I'm sorry, but this mod is predominantly for legacy, what I can tell you is, the mod works, you're having a user issue, not a mod issue

@thalilmythos New to modding, I'd like to use this in combination with LS Gangsta Mod, but I'm not sure if nightly will run the same as the regular scripthookv.net that the mod requires.

@xxsgen I believe LS Gangsta mod should work with nightly, try it, you might need to engage in a little trial and error now

@thalilmythos Yeah, I just checked, plus my dumbass mentioned the wrong one (is not LS Gangsta Mod), but the gang mod I'm using uses nightly. Thanks for responding, though, homie.

hey appreciate this mod for freeroam, but i was wondering if it would be possible to add a way to disable the hits during story missions or maybe a hotkey to toggle hits so that i can manually turn them on and off in game. Anyway thanks for the fun mod!

@MrAlaz10 Hits are not on in missions, unless you die in them, once you die, the game considers you "not on a mission" and so if a hit was going to come it will come when you reload your checkpoint, nevertheless, if you pass the whole mission flawless no hits will come, so, I did my "disabling in missions" job
I'd recommend you, don't die, I'm really not a fan of toggles and I doubt I'll add it, you can disable the hits in the ini though.

already update the nightly and the scripthookV, still having issues with the reinforcement any solutions? or just downgrade the version?

UPDATE 1.4
- Fixed the reinforcements script crashing.
- Improved the hostility system, gangs will no longer shoot you on sight, instead, the interaction will be more realistic, they will insult and threaten before attacking, similar to how they react when provoked, except this time, is just because they hate you (when you beef with them)
