I noticed a minor issue with installed peds. Even if I assign them to be female peds, they are still considered male by default for some reason. They use the generic male voice lines for cases such as fleeing/taking damage/burning instead of the female ones.
My installing guide for people who might have trouble getting it to work or getting the game recognize the your addonpeds:
1. Install the mod via OpenIV.
2. Run the game and see if pressing "L" brings up the "Ped Selector" menu. If it shows up, you have installed it correctly and can continue. If the game crashes when entering Story Mode, you may have missed some prerequisites.
3. Move your addonped models to the "peds.rpf" file inside "GTA V/mods/updage/x64/dlcpacks/pedselector/dlc.rpf" via OpenIV.
4. Run the "pedselector.exe" as Administrator and add your peds, it will create a file named "ap_m.xml" after you're done. The program will ask you to set up the ped data folder, it can be anywhere of your choice.
5. Make sure there are no issues with your peds by checking the "Ped Library" page.
6. Click on the "Open XML folder" in the "Ped Library" page, it will reveal wherever the "ap_m.xml" file is. Move it to "Users/(your username)/Documents/Rockstar Games/GTA V/Usermods" so the game can recognize the peds you've added.
7. Run the game, press "L" bring up the Ped Selector menu, choose the "Add-On Peds" tab and see if your newly added peds show up in the list. If they show up, you have done everything right and can start playing. The "PedSelector.dll" and "PedSelector.pdb" aren't required if you have other mods that can load the models like Menyoo.
Hope this helps everyone. And I also would like to see a way to customize the hotkey so it doesn't always have to be "L".
