Hi, thank you so much for this mod. I just want to add that I too am experiencing exactly what @doojit did and after some troubleshooting also found that when this mod is removed the car behaves normally.
I also have a legal copy but not the steam version, I purchased the hardcopy. I also redownloaded the mod and reinstalled it and the problem went away. That is very weird but I am glad that it is not still doing what it did.
