    Hi, new idea from my overthinking brain : the possibility to merge multiple effects under the same name/vote with maybe a tool. That would be an awesome feature, maybe for a 2.0 version.

    I don't know if you can create a tool where you can put two/three effects at the same time. For example I'd like to put rainbow cars and rainbow guns at the same time (half of the time there's no cars or no guns, and the effect is kinda lost).
    Or "spammy doors" with "alarmy vehicles". Or "remove current vehicle" with spawning a car wreck or a bike. I have a lot of ideas, and it can artificially expand the number of effects to a thousand.

    Just imagine Jesus taking the wheel of a rainbow car under a meteor rain.
    Or every hostile NPC (Angry Jimmy + Balla Squad + Impotent Rage + Mercenaries + James Bond) at the same time.
    Or the addition or "Walk on Water" + "Deadly Aim" + "Forcefield" + "Super Jump & Super Run" + "Invincible".

    Eventually, to make two events happen within a second, but one before the other. Example : first, "remove weapons from everyone", then make James Bond appear. If the two effects occur at the same frame, James Bond won't have his gun, and it would be less fun.

    I don't know if we can put something like "customeffect001" slots (with their own sound files), but if you set this up, that would be extraordinary.
    Of course some effects won't work together, but that will be the pleasure of anyone customizing its effects and crying after the 35th crash, I think =D
    I just deeply hope that something like this wouldn't be too hard.

    New quick idea : Could you add the cartoonish effects around the gun, the ones you can see when Trevor meets Barry (the mission with all the clowns) ?

    When I install an uptade, does it change the names of the effects (does it set them by default again ?) ?

    If so, is it possible that the new effects are placed at the end of the "effects" text file ?

    Anyway, I'll start to stream your mod in french this week (at @VanilleCoca), which means your mod is ready and at value, and I'm thankful !

    Another suggestion : I played the Chaos Mod in GTA San Andreas last weeks, and the favorite effect of my viewers was by far the "Beyblade". The effect is really fun as :
    - Your car goes full rotation on itself at the first frame of the effect
    - All the other cars keep rotating
    - Bikers are ejected at the first frame they ride on a bike
    - You get smashed far away when you get hit
    - Other cars bounce against the walls

    I don't know if it is easy in GTA V but it would be an awesome thing if it's featured.

    All the files are like this one :

    name_of_effect=1,0,-1,5,0,0,name_in_french
    I checked all of them.

    Is it that hard to modify the names in the code ? Or is it just to cut/paste twice or thrice ?

    Only 5% of all the effects are renamed now.

    Hi @pongo1231 ! It's way easier to install the mod after the last update, thanks, I finally could play it, and it's even funnier than it was in my mind.
    But there's a problem though.

    Like I suggested you weeks ago, you added a feature to rename the effects, something great for spanish or french streamers like me. And I'm thankful for that, you react quickly, that's awesome.
    But only 10% or less of all the effects I renamed are effectively renamed in the chat and the game. All others keep their original names.
    I tried to change the names in the textfile "effects", It didn't work well either.
    There is a feedback of what I tried to do, it may help :

    - I tried to enable only 10 effects, to make some tests : 6 were successfully renamed, 4 stayed in english (no particular difference between those)
    - I renamed again the 4 of above (via the "effects" file) : the tests were successful, all the 10 effects enabled were renamed
    - Then I tested longer names (more than 40 letters) : it turned back to the original english names
    - I changed the failed ones with test names ("azazazazazazazazazazazazazazaz32" for example) and it worked again
    - Then I activated and renamed 15 more effects with such bad names : some were renamed and others not. But, sadder, previous successfully renamed effects went back to english
    - On 25 effects activated, 15 were renamed in my last test

    I hope you'll find the problem soon and that it's only a minor issue. Keep killing it !
