@Gabet347 Same here, but I use Panda Free AV. Did a full scan on my PC for the hell of it and this turned up as a Trojan. I'm guessing false positive though.
This is fantastic. I tried playing the game again without these changes and wow... I never realized just how bad chromatic aberration made the game look. Everything is so crisp and clean now with your modifications. Thanks a lot.
Okay, about the files in the addins and libs folders. Are these needed?
@BobJaneTMart Sorry to keep spamming the comments, but I solved it. Windows Defender was actually the culprit. Disabled real time protection and everything's good now.
@BobJaneTMart After a process of elimination I narrowed it down to the dinput8.dll that's causing the stutter. I removed your mod but retained the OpenIV.asi, ScripthookV.dll and other necessary mod files and still got stuttering. dinput8.dll was the first file I removed after discovering this and I then able to swap characters with no stutter. Do you or anyone else that may read this have any ideas why that file would be causing problems?
Okay, I love the mod and it makes the game much more enjoyable (thanks for the change to the gangsters, by the way) but I cannot for the life of me figure out why I am getting stutter with this mod installed. When switching characters it stutters/freezes, and in normal gameplay it will sometimes briefly freeze or stutter. No one else seems to have an issue so what could it be for me? I have all necessary files installed such as OpenIV.asi, ScripthookV, etc. and all are in the proper locations. I've followed the installation instructions to the letter and still get the issues. I've tried running Steam in offline mode, meaning of course the game is running offline as well, and it still happens. Tried restarting the computer, still happens. I can't figure it out and it's really frustrating.
Cool, glad to hear!
@BobJaneTMart Yeah, exactly what I was thinking. If you can make this change it'd be greatly appreciated. If not, thanks anyway for the mod as it is. Dealing with cops is much more tolerable now.
This doesn't seem to affect other enemy NPCs like gangsters. Is there a way you can tweak their accuracy as well?
