Okay, I've tried everything, and this mod simply doesn't work for me. GTALua is loading other Lua mods, but I get precisely nothing from this. It doesn't matter where I put the file or which GTALua I use, this mod fails. I'm done trying.
I can't use the GTALua with my setup (using x360ce so I can play with controller and G25 wheel), and for whatever reason GTALua screws it up. I would so love to try this mod. Any chance you might port it to the regular Lua? Probably not, but I figured I'd ask.
Don't use it online? Hahaha... As soon as you modify the gamefiles with OpenIV, you can't get even log in. I don't get how this works unless you are all playing cracked games. If there's a modified GTA file, the game doesn't even load.
Nevermind. But how do I get the original file back? I didn't realize this keeps you from playing online... I don't really understand why; it's a freaking intro video. It offers no benefit online whatsoever.
My game is now corrupt. Followed your instructions to the letter, now I can't run the game. Nice work. What the hell did I do wrong? Your instructions couldn't be simpler...
No way to delete spawns? Many of the 'crews' (which means a single NPC; not really a crew) are just exact dupes of your current character, and they remain present forever? This is silly. Thumbs down.
Why do you modders insist on leaving example menus in your mods, and then say nothing about them in the descriptions??! The .net Scripthook has the same thing!! Then you get people complaining about it, whom you promptly IGNORE!! Try a little LOGIC and REASON. Why would you leave the dummy menus??

Well, I think I commented too hastily. I see that there is a new version of GTALua that doesn't replace dinput8.dll. This might work now. Stand by.
