you have to reinstall mods after each game update. if a game update comes with a new update.rpf file then you will need to clean out your mods folder and use the new .rpf file. This mod has never crashed the game. its most likely scripthook/script mods or outdated *.rpf file causing that.
this mod is upwards compatible. if you have game version 1.48 you can use the 1.43 installer. minimum game version is 1.36 (1.0.877). in order to run this mod on older game versions you have to manually remove all DLC vehicle handlings from this mod. conveniently i did move the DLC vehicles to the bottom of the file for easy "trimming".
i tested this mod on game version 1.50 and it seems to work fine.
@avallach for more info on AI modding check out ikt's work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rt09mvAXGyk
@avallach AI cars occasionally crashing is related to the game's extremely short AI view range (to reduce CPU load on consoles) and the issue that the AI often only applies 60% of available brake force. The best way to approch this problem would be to tweak the AI instead of changing tire grip.
@Vans123 thank you for your hard work. The track is a lot of fun. Check out this video footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txEDr0pqE4M
Make sure to check out Vans123's Nordschleife race track! it works really well with this mod. Here is some footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txEDr0pqE4M
@archer23 game version 1.24 is too outdated, you need game version 1.36 at the very least.
@ikt my guess is the 44 in the first line.
Rockstar simplified bike handling in GTA5. Part of this change was removal of all lateral sliding and limitation of wheelspin. There is a flag that enables powersliding but it causes physics issues and is not a viable fix. Bike handling in GTA5 is tied directly to animation, making changes difficult.
