This is a singleplayer game. 50% of the time i want to play it is not available. game server down. update server down. catcha server down. backend server down. FUCK YOURSELF!
Do not drink Water. why? i wont tell you.
This mod was thoroughly tested with game version 1.50 (0.1868) and worked fine. no bugs, no crashes. all story missions completed without a hitch.
Here is footage of version 2.5 being used on Vans123's amazing Nordschleife track:

@InfamousSabre i have no idea why Banshee and Bullet have wrong initial drag in the increased deformation file. only difference should be deformation. subhandling data difference is not a big deal though as it has no effect. thanks for making me aware.
you have to reinstall mods after each game update. if a game update comes with a new update.rpf file then you will need to clean out your mods folder and use the new .rpf file. This mod has never crashed the game. its most likely scripthook/script mods or outdated *.rpf file causing that.
this mod is upwards compatible. if you have game version 1.48 you can use the 1.43 installer. minimum game version is 1.36 (1.0.877). in order to run this mod on older game versions you have to manually remove all DLC vehicle handlings from this mod. conveniently i did move the DLC vehicles to the bottom of the file for easy "trimming".
i tested this mod on game version 1.50 and it seems to work fine.
@avallach for more info on AI modding check out ikt's work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rt09mvAXGyk
@avallach AI cars occasionally crashing is related to the game's extremely short AI view range (to reduce CPU load on consoles) and the issue that the AI often only applies 60% of available brake force. The best way to approch this problem would be to tweak the AI instead of changing tire grip.
@Vans123 thank you for your hard work. The track is a lot of fun. Check out this video footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txEDr0pqE4M
