@Manuel138 Does this work without the latest SHV update?
@Nico09_dev So are we only to slavishly say 'it's good' and that's it? If you actually read my two previous posts, I gave high praise and distinctly said, 'My two beefs were just nitpicks'. And you also went 'Mach 10' as you blew past the part where I said, 'Yeah, yeah, I know it's just a game.' Despite the overall design, there were some 'flaws' that I addressed could have been fixed. Don't make 'excuses' for the designer. You're not defending them. Something elaborate like this could easily be used as a role-playing or serious cinematic set for a series. 'No fridge and toilet' are simple additions and nothing to lose one's mind over trying to defend. The 'water' issue beneath the pool is a 'design flaw' I'm certain wasn't intended. I doubt 'drowned' deer, bunnies and mountain lions floating beneath the pool area was a conscious choice during the build. At no point did I 'give shade'. Your 'critique translation chip' needs calibrating.
'just use menyoo to put a toilet by the tub in the wall....'
@Nico09_dev, said every contractor who built a home for a customer and forgot to add the toilet. The 'point' was, these guys are so hyped on all the 'cool bits' of these mansions they built and forget the very basics for what completes a home. Yeah, yeah, it's 'just a game'. But when you have all the tools, put the time in for a good design and then don't 'plan to include the basics', it looks like a little kid did it instead of a talented and well thought out mod. There was 'outstanding' attention to detail and thought put into 97% of the mod. You make a dramatic 'deep-water diving pool' in the middle of the forest, but 'forgot the toilet and refer?' Even the pool excellent as it was has a major flaw in the design. I get the desire for 'columns' supporting the structure. It was quite dramatic. But, the 'oh-by-the-way' nature of water in the game that it 'goes down infinitely' and maintains 'a floating zone' shaped like that of how it was placed makes for an interesting but unintended 'effect' beneath the structure that could have been dealt with by walling it off. That of course would make the design more 'clunky' looking than with columns and open air beneath.Then again, it was hilarious having a mountain lion chase a character and end up 'drowning' after jumping at them as they swam away....
@skylumz 'Discord Version?'
@Alex106 Update: The 'doubling of props' come to find out came from 'strm files' in an MLO mod. Once removed, that stopped. As for issues with Map Fixes, it came down to 'double entries' in the dlc packs and dlc list. I cleaned all that out and the game runs well again. I was preparing to do a proper input of MPF but 'R' broke the game again with another damn update. I'll know what works or not if scripthook ever gets updated....
@Adis12 Update: I figured out the problem in SP. Remove these 3 files and the mlo runs perfectly. No 'exploding doubled up props', no crash at the underwater barge.
hei_sc1_29_strm_0.ymap, lr_sc1_29_strm_0.ymap and sc1_29_strm_0.ymap.
Adding restrooms would have been a nice touch....
@Alex106, So I put in the all the files. Was the 'security patch' supposed to fix the collisions and 'floating couch' in Franklin's house? 'Cause it hasn't. Also, since the 'contract' update I've found ambient props are all doubled like there's a an extra set put into the map. Trash cans, trash bags, Garbage bins, boxes, deck chairs and more will 'explosively' separate if they're dynamic and you move them. This only happens with the contract dlc in place. Have you or anyone else run into this issue?
Absolutely astounding map! It does conflict with the baller gang motel and convenience store mlo nearby in Vagos territory. That one was having problems since the contract dlc, so once I pulled that out yours works beautifully! Well done.
@Gidoxy Beautiful build. The pool alone and the way you set it up is stunning! My beefs are the usual, what is it with so many of you who build these mansions get all the 'garages', 'helipads' and 'pool' details spot on...but have a thing against 'restrooms' and obvious refrigerators? Also, though brilliant usage of 'usable water' for all the water features, you ran into that funky 'column of water' thing. It was loads of fun 'flying beneath the pool!' I figured that was going to happen soon as I saw it was open under there! Lastly, this just kills all the doors and props in the other mlo's in my game. The lower levels of my Mission Row Police Station has no doors, props or peds with your mod in! And that was without putting all the extra trees or added peds! Kinda iffy on the location as well what with the 'under pool water issues.' Maybe on one of the islands or on it's own island would make for a better spot. All those palm trees in the middle of a pine forest was weird. In spite of those nit-picks, what a fantastic build. The house itself was pretty snazzy! But like I said, not having a 'toilet' or a 'fridge' broke the vibe for me. It's too bad my system can't handle the extra load with your mod, otherwise (even without a crapper) I'd keep this in my game. Good job!
