@zombymario Ouf, that isn't pretty, does it happen often?
And you're welcome!
@zombymario Try 2.0.3c that I just uploaded, I think I've found the issue!
@zombymario Thanks for the feedback. So only the handling config is not being created. Do you have any other configs that you can try editing and saving? I want to see if it's a problem with just creating a config, or saving an existing config as well. I believe I've included some Banshee2 configs you can try editing and saving.
@LeeC2202 Ahh I see, indeed, one of those things that are superbly obvious in hindsight!! Thanks for sharing :)
@LeeC2202 No problem, it's fine! I see you just updated your mod, I hope it's fixed. If you can, please let me know what fixed it, just for knowledge's sake :P
@zombymario Does the game crash when switching Drive Modes? If not, then it's most likely some problem with the script writing to a file or creating a new file (as all reading of files are done when the script is first loaded, or when reloading a config, so reading should be fine). One thing you haven't mentioned is unblocking the DrivingModes.dll file, have you done that too? If not, you can right click the DLL, go to properties, and if the DLL is blocked, there should be a checkbox to unblock it. You can try doing the same for scripthookV.asi and scripthookVDotNet.asi.
@kuzzmenka That's not my mod, that's the Real-Time Handling Editor mod.
@LeeC2202 For me the crashing was due to the FuelLevel and CurrentRPM vehicle offsets not being updated on SHVDN. I only have the non-steam/warehouse version so I can't test properly. Getting the default handling values and comparing them to default values I got in the previous version, the values are the same. It could be possible that on steam the handling offset or one of the value offsets are off, though I kind of doubt it..
@vinnis No problem!
@alex20121981 @zombymario @vinnis
Please try version 2.0.3b, it *should* fix the crashing issues.
@GAGER Just tested, seems to work fine on my end. Is there anything in the scripthookvdotnet.log about the script? I find it hard to believe this script can crash the game at startup, since the mod doesn't do anything until it is enabled through a profile in the menu.. but with that said, there have been all sorts of problems with this last update, so who knows really :/
