For me the problem started when trying to fix crashing on mission start. I read here to reinstall gameconfig (Ive been using the one by F7Y0) so I did that and sure enough I can do story missions now. But following that I started noticing very low vehicle variety (like immersion breaking low) and also my city density seems to fluctuate. I tried restarting, re-re-installing gameconfig, and also manually adjusting those parameters in the settings file. This is where the interesting part comes in: It seems as though there is also another factor effecting the vehicle variety concurrently with the one we can see in the settings file. So when I change the vehicle variety setting (either in the settings in-game or manually in the settings file) it changes the variety relative to this new normal. For example, this bug is causing me to see sometimes 10 of the same car right in a line (different colors though) and next to that line could be even more of that same model. Well if I increase the variety setting I will still potentially see that huge line of the same car but the cars around it are less likely to be that car.
To clarify, this isn't the exact way the bug presents itself all the time I'm just saying I can see the variety change with the setting but I can also definitely tell the bug is also still happening.
