1. Open OpenIV and turn on Edit Mode.
2. Go to the folder: mods\update\update.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\

Notes
* Make sure you’re editing inside your mods folder, not the original game files.
* Always back up anything you replace.
That’s it. Load up the game and enjoy faster, more alive traffic.
Change Log: 4.0
- Fixed the issue from 3.0, where it was no longer working.

@Andreyraduta legacy is what i use, but it should also work on enhanced. but i'm not too sure. if you don't mind testing on enhanced and letting us know. that would be helpful.
@dmaddy44 I am not familiar with quant V, i use Visual V and haven't had problem with it. Maybe there is something in quantv thats causing it. test to see if you can run it without quantv. basically rename your current mod folder, and create a new mod folder with just adding this file. and if it loads, then there is something with your current mod folder thats causing it. but if its still not working with the new mod folder, then its something else. let me know if you do that.
@Ahmed77 i did add it - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N98Eu7ayRRw
I have paths.ipl not rpf what should I do? I tried to put the rpf file without replacing anything but it doesn't seem to work
@wgta5mod make sure you are going to the correct directory in the mods folder. check your address and make sure its
\mods\update\update.rpf\x64\levels\gta5
make sure you go to x64 and not common folder.
@chaxils08 Thanks perfect, regarding CPU performance, how does it behave?
@wgta5mod there shouldn't be any negative cpu performance. all it does update node speed flag.
Why are they crashing into eachother every second bro
@DeinPxdoxD can you tell on what street that is happening. or is it happening everywhere.
@chaxils08 Whenever a car stops at a light, some idiot npc slams into them at full speed. And it happens at every light.
@chaxils08 can you also include in this amazing mod the AI intelligence from the drivers.
@DeinPxdoxD i'll look into it and see i can fix that. i did slow down the intersections a bit, can you try the latest version and see if that resolved it for you? please let me know. thanks
@Neuromance i wish i knew how to do that, but i'm not that smart haha. maybe someone else who knows can do it. that would be really cool to have if they were somewhat aware of surrounding. but gtav ai is just program to drive a set path and get to another node.
@chaxils08 maybe the files from the mod DriveV can help you. he maked something like this. the file called "optional Ai improvement"
This is definitely not compatible with Blaine County Traffic Lights right? I assume they edit the same node paths.
@Legendkiller456 it is now. 3.0 version works with it now.
Makes my game feel great and alive, thank you
@chaxils08
Definite crashes on Cayo Perico. Needs to be fixed.
well done
@chaxils08 You need to step down the nodes leading to the intersection. So before the intersection stop node, you need to reduce the traffic at the previous node and possibly the next. I made a mod a few years ago that edited speeds and that was my solution to making working stop signs, and not having the full spend collisions at intersections.
I try this mods but there where no difference I notice. On Such Path of highway literally traffic drop to 30 kmh on hight and slopes also. i alsy edit handling.meta or vehicleaihandlinginfo.meta increasing values 2.5 times, only player car goes to max speed but Traffic still slowest every where. Max speed capture - 100 kmh. I put path.rpf in game directory and mods also and intalled extras also. please can anyone know me that max speed you see in traffic like 150+
