Any chance you could direct us into how we could essentionally do this for other rockstar animations? for example there's an animation of getting up off of the ground, and there's ugly "grunt" like animation.

@HeySlickThatsMe How about a mod that removes some animations from the main characters like Michael, Trevor and Franklin? I've always hated how Michael, specially, gets impatience whenever he's at idle, looking back and acting as if he wants you to get a move on. If you can create a mod that removes some of those unecessary animations from the main characters that'll be great.

@JAM102970 I don't think that would work well by erasing the entire animations, i know that can be done through scripts but i don't think i will be making any

I have something similar in mind for another release, but it will remove climbing facial animations instead because they look like shit

I think you'd have to override the idle animations with essentially "blank" animations. I've seen someone do it for FiveM and it works flawlessly but I haven't tried it with Michael Trevor or Franklin, besides, the file names are for mp male and female. Could possibly rename it 🤔 @HeySlickThatsMe @JAM102970

@TayMcKenzie See what you can find out about that further and let me know if it's even possible to eliminate that stupid impatient animation specially with Michael, for single player mode.

move_f_generic_idles@std.ycd -- MP Female
move_m_generic_idles@std.ycd -- MP Female
move_p_m_one_idles@generic.ycd -- Franklin
move_p_m_two_idles@generic.ycd -- Trevor
move_p_m_zero_idles@generic.ycd -- Michael

If you replace their idle animations with custom blank ones, same names and everything, they stop fidgeting, looking around, blowing their nose, scratching their balls, etc etc. Truthfully, I haven't touched SP modding in over 4 years, but I guess you just search those names up in OpenIV / Codewalker RPF Explorer and replace them in your mods file.

I've finally been able to stop this crap in FiveM, but eh... SP.

@TayMcKenzie I'll do some tweaking on my own and see if I can make it happen based on your info. If I succeed then I'll even post a link to a demo video showing the results. Thanks
