Realistic Injury System
About:
A script that makes injured NPCs move realistically based on their remaining health! When human NPCs take damage and fall below 75% health, they will automatically switch to an injured limping movement style and slow down dynamically as their injuries worsen.
Features:
- Dynamic injured movement clipset applied when NPC health drops below a certain threshold
- Real time movement speed scaling: the worse their health gets, the slower and more severely impaired they move
- Accurately calculated around GTA V's internal death threshold model
- Automatic movement reset back to normal if NPC health recovers
- Memory efficient, stateless logic running on a fast, optimized interval
- Smooth animation pre-loading system to prevent stuttering or glitching
- Scans nearby human NPCs while being performance friendly
Requirements:
- GTAV Legacy
- Script Hook V
- Script Hook V .NET (🔸Latest/Nightly Build🔸)
Using outdated versions of SHVDN may cause crashes. Use latest versions!
Installation:
Make sure to delete older versions before installing.
Drop "Injured Peds.dll" into your scripts folder.
If you don’t have a scripts folder, just create one in your root GTA 5 directory.
To uninstall, just remove the related files from the scripts folder.
To disable temporarily, move the file out of the folder.

let me know what features u want in this mod for future updates
yo what makes yo npc do that lil death animation mine dont do it
and your gun sound mod
@ww_aleeex yo bro how did you remove the blood mist when you shoot em
its also the adrenaline and so on but yeah i also hated that, and btw what blood mod are you using in the video
@jaece101 its called More Gore by IAmJFry you need play once with it to generate settings file and then u can edit the .xml and change these lines like make sure they like this:
CanPedWrithe="False"
CanPedPlayInjuredPainAudio="True"
@jaece101 modern weapon sounds by Poorsoul44
@OG_Mods17 @Gen5iv3 its a mix of different blood and gore mods with a lot of tweaks made by myself idk if i can upload it since ill probably need permission from all of the modders but if yall want it i might make like an oiv or something so u can install everything on my discord server idk
@ww_aleeex yeah it would be nice, because it looks good and you can ask for their permission as long as you remember who it was hopefully, and i would preffer a manual install because im using enhanced, but you can do both
@OG_Mods17 yeah you re right. i never tried modding enhanced but i will provide the files for manual install too maybe yall can get it working i guess. i will see what i can do
@ww_aleeex Now all pedestrians are limping.
@Vitalezzzz oh i see what you mean. yeah i will update soon
It looks like some peds walk in slow motion to me, without getting injured
@ww_aleeex arlight let me know when you do this
@ww_aleeex i have another question, could you make it possible for every npc that can shoot a gun, to have equipped a flashlight for a weapon that he uses? it would be at night, they would switch it at night only, because i always hated how player would use a flashlight on a gun, and other npcs would not, it just always looked weird for me, i would do it myself but i dont have enough space on C: and i dont know how would i need to do it for it to install these packages in this visual studio app on the D:
