DESCRIPTION

Bring cinematic saber battles to GTA V with 28 animations, featuring 13 paired combat scenes and 2 solo performances.

The pack includes duels, acrobatic moves, disarms, chases, kicks, Force-push reactions and a final attack.

This is an animation pack for cinematic scenes, not a replacement for the game's melee combat system.

AVAILABLE DOWNLOADS

Animation Pack
Standalone laser_sword.ycd animation dictionary for manual playback and integration with tools such as Menyoo.

Stunt Director Addon
The same animation dictionary, plus 15 selectable scenes with participant placements and playback settings.

REQUIREMENTS

- GTA V Enhanced, Story Mode.
- Compatible mod loader and RPF editing tool.
- Stunt Director / Synchronized Interaction Studio 0.2.0 or later, with its dependencies, for the addon version. https://www.gta5-mods.com/fr/scripts/stunt-director-beta-multi-actor-animation-sequence-studio-leagcy-enhanced
- Menyoo is optional for individual animation playback.

INSTALLATION ANIMATIONS

1. Close the game and back up any files you intend to modify.
2. Using your RPF editor, import laser_sword.ycd into:

mods/x64c.rpf/anim/cutscene/cuts_random_peds.rpf

Work on the modded archive, not the original game files.

The .rpf names refer to archives, not ordinary Windows folders.

No DLC installation or dlclist.xml modification is required.

INSTALLATION STUNT DIRECTOR ADDON

1. Install the animation dictionary as described above.
2. Copy the included scripts folder into your GTA V directory.
3. Check that the resulting path is:

scripts/Addons/Laser Sword/addon.json

4. Launch Story Mode.
5. Enable Laser Sword in Stunt Director's Addon Manager.
6. Select a scene and assign the required actors.

If an older Laser Sword addon is installed, back it up and replace it rather than keeping duplicate copies.

Both downloads contain the same YCD. Install it only once.

Copying the scripts folder alone does not install the animation dictionary.
