Siren Shader Modifier
How to:
Export the vehicle models .yft and _hi.yft as XML files and place them in the xml_models folder. Then run shader_modifier.exe and wait until all modified XML files appear in the xml_modified folder.
You must use CodeWalker RPF Explorer to export and import the vehicle files. Export the .yft and _hi.yft files from the RPF archive, convert/process them as required, and then use RPF Explorer to import the modified files back into the appropriate RPF archive.

Each vehicle may use a different siren texture name. Find the siren texture inside the vehicle's .ytd file. It is commonly named generic_lightbar_rbwa. Once you find the correct texture name, add it to the txd list.ini file and run the program.
The executable was created with the help of ChatGPT and Python. The tool makes only one intended change: it adds the _siren suffix to vehicle_lightsemissive in each XML model while preserving the rest of the XML structure intact.
Recommended visualsettings.dat values
If your lights are barely visible, make sure the following values are present in:
mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\visualsettings.dat
car.sirenlight.day.emissive.off
car.sirenlight.day.emissive.on
car.sirenlight.night.emissive.off
car.sirenlight.night.emissive.on
You can increase the "on" values if you feel that your lights are too dim, I recommend a value around 750 for day & night (these depend highly on the visual mod you're using)
I will also include a new, higher-quality siren texture.
