@medcay Great, suggestions! Something like that was always the intent of being able to build 'profiles'. Being able to 'stack' those profiles was something I always had on the back burner but now I think you'll enjoy the latest addition!! Please let me know of any issues though
@RealSmoke This should be solved in the latest update, but please let me know if you run into anything!
@guelex Thank you so much for the kind words and review!! I do have something cooking for the Legacy folks, no ETA though but stay tunned!
@MoeMoe Short answer is yes! I mainly write stuff for Enhanced since there are so many other talented authors that build Legacy mods. However, I have to get the rest of the suite of Merge Apps out (Not up to my standards yet) before running another dev round on what's published but I do have something in the works!!
This is a really good idea and much needed in the Enhanced community!! However, it doesn't seem to go far enough on HEAVY modded stacks. I'm finding myself having to use a custom gameconfig with RE to get the game to run (NVE's gameconfig) or else I get a CTD upon initialization. I'm then running into random GFX errors along with freezing on initialization on occasion. I'm having to move back to the individual pool modifiers for now but going to keep RE on my radar for sure!
@mriscan Sorry yes I mean Enhanced and you need https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/script-hook-v-net-enhanced to run legacy scripts on enhanced
@mriscan This is partly why I haven't released my MapPack_Merge mod yet (I was releasing tools like this before this author). When I release that, and it will be very soon, it will properly merge maps and scenarios. LCPP is one those DLC stacks I have testing and it's the final benchmark. It's not the scripts that are incompatible with Legacy, it's the shaders and meta files
Hmm, it all looks so familiar lol
@MrBene Thank you for the stars!! I'll possibly be able to do a reversal flow via a toggle or version detection, something I'll have to mess around with
@gulang Why yes, that is the whole point of the tool. It removes all mods and places them in a 'Profiles' directory within the app so you can run vanilla GTAV cleanly. Now, if your mods aren't in the Profile directory under their profile ID, then that is a bug. Possibly due to permissions you have on your game folder and wherever you extracted the tool to your system.
Rating the tool a .5 is very rude when helpful feedback instead will result in a better tool for everyone. Please check on those things and let me know! There is a new version of the tool that is prepped but not ready to publish yet so if there is a major issue, I'd like to get that fixed! However, this is the only report of this issue, so any details would be great, thank you!!
@agio20 Thanks for the report!! Some of those sound like regressions I'll have to pinpoint when I can crack it back open along some new ones I'll have to think about in the next version. More to come for sure
