@safari4831 hi ! So I can just open a thread in there, in #corefx_forums ?! It looked like the Discord was more focused on the CoreFX graphic mod but if it is ok that's cool ! My bad for the stupid question then haha !
Thanks a lot for working on this project, I believe that you are currently working on the future of R* Editor tools, especially for Enhanced which currently lacks any support for rendering! I do not want to fill this comment section with troubleshooting stuff, but on my end I am having trouble making it work, do you know by any chance who I can contact on Discord and/or where I can post my questions/logs ? I do not have CoreFX installed and never had, and I don't really know much about it haha
Thanks for your reply @Koukol ! I will try this as soon as the heatwawe (39° here in Germany!) is gone ! Do you know by any chance if there is a way to actually move the sun in a way that changes the game's visuals (shadows, etc) ? I haven't found any mods/game files letting me do this kind of alterations so far
Hi @Koukol! I just discovered your tool and it looks absolutely amazing. I have already found quite a few useful use cases for Machinima making and others, so thanks a lot for developing this so well on Enhanced!
I have a small question though. For one of my projects/tests, I would like to be able to change the sun's position, like the azimuth and elevation, to light some specific areas of the map in a way that the stock celestial system doesn't permit. But for some reason it seems that I am unable to change the sun's X/Y/Z position via the "Sun position" menu. What am I doing wrong there?
@RemixPL1994 Thanks for your reply!
It seems weird to me that these props have such a short LOD distance, so I did some digging with OpenIV, CodeWalker, and Blender to check the render distances (LODs) of some of the props I saw popping in. However, they all appear to be normal. What's even stranger is that some of the props brought back by your mod already exist in the base game, where they behave normally.
So somehow it doesn't seem to be linked to the props themselves, but maybe to the priority the game assigns to them?! It could be a remnant of the PS3 era, when draw distances were much lower. In that case, it MAY be something that could be fixed through a script?!
Excellent mod, thanks a lot for adding support for Enhanced ! I do have a question regarding the render distance of thoses new props. In my game they seems to be spawning quite close to the player and not be affected at all by the render/extended render distance in the settings ( https://imgur.com/a/GlfoPye )
Great work ! Thanks a lot !
