@andre500 a quick heads up about the PR I opened: "the PR is based on the 1.2.4 source on GitHub, since the 2.0.0 code isn’t published there yet"
Hey @andre500, thanks for ModDropV, it’s been really handy! 🙌
Heads up: I ran into an install failing with “not an RPF7 archive”. I was running a self-made OIV that removes files from a large DLC I had already installed successfully with ModDropV. It turns out some packs contain .rpf files that aren’t actually archives, and ModDropV tries to open them anyway. I put together a small fix, built and tested it locally (the install that failed now works), and opened a PR on GitHub: https://github.com/sruckstar/ModDropV/pull/1
Feel free to use it however you like and change it as needed. Cheers!
@andre500 you nailed it man, kudos! One note though: please add a link to the source code in the description. I really love that you’ve made it available. 10 stars!!!
works like a charm, 5*****, thanks a lot mate
@viperwolf2654 I know, but the official release from Ikt doesn't, so you can use that :)

@LouiDev sorry, I see your answer to @UnstoppableTJ about that, I didn't see it before.
@LouiDev good mod, just some feedback:
When you're at high speed in a higher gear (e.g., 5th) and then slow down by releasing the gas or braking, the RPM drops. At that point, the car should realistically be in a lower gear (like 3rd), which makes sense. However, if you remain in 5th gear and press the gas again, the car currently does nothing, which feels unrealistic.
In real life, the car wouldn’t become completely unresponsive. You would get weak acceleration, some lugging or slight shaking, and in some cases the engine might stall (especially when pulling away in the wrong gear). It shouldn’t just ignore throttle input entirely, particularly when the car is still moving after slowing down.
Lastly, it’s totally up to you, but it would be great if you could share the source code. It would let others help improve it, keep it going if you ever stop working on it, or tweak it for their own needs. Of course, it’s your work and your call, and I respect that. This is just a personal preference, but I tend to prefer mods that can be modified or maintained by others if needed, rather than relying only on the original author.
@gta_guy267 just a heads up, I've fixed the V issue in case you want to use LeFix Simple Fuel: https://github.com/crucialthread/gta5-simplefuel/releases/tag/v1.1.9
I've released a new version fixing the V menu bug:
