YES VSYNC ALWAYS ON - And if you cant stand the input lag which for me is minimal I can't really feel it, especially using AMD feature to eliminate it....
Yes riva tuner i STRONGLY recommend you to use it as it is the only program for now which can not just grant a FPS limit but also 16.6 miliseconds of latency with exactitude. You may want to lock it at 80 too should be fine, game always goes potato above 100.
THERE IS MORE..... You can combine the fps lock of riva, and have G-sync enabled at the same time (with in-game vsync off so the nvidia panel overrides it).... this will eliminate the stuttering, the screen-tearing and most important ZERO input lag... This is the best possible setup, make sure to also tweak the game via the nvidia control panel.
@Yoko Daisuke hmmm, with those specs the problem you mention shouldnt even exist.... you may want to add me on steam, id would want to recommend you something via chat... but in a summary the solution to your problem is, enabling vsync and locking the framerate to 60fps using an external program like rivatuner the one i use for example... why? you see, playing gta v on pc with unlimited framerate works like hell, the game can't be played above 100fps no matter how much VRAM you got, the menu will lag, wont respond, sometimess the game will loop in "infinte loading" and the map and textures will just UN-load, yes, the fix for that is easy as capping the framerate to 60fps... you'll see it'll work like magic.
@Yoko Daisuke @moistless yep, this is exactly what I mean. But because I dont own "Fortnite Launcher" and dont ever plan to, I have zero idea what is the launch string for Epic, the method is the same tho. Glad you made it! - Glad both of you liked my work, sometimes depending on your hardware it makes a huge difference as it may not... Looks like this is the case where it actually does something for those who said this doesn't work or destroys your game lol... all lies. Again, thank you!
@moistless I dont own such version, if you want one, you are going to have to find out how does Epic launches GTA V and if there is a shortcut see what path does it inditate, that is the path the script excecutes in the START string which would tell Steam to run application "271590" the ID of GTA 5 in the Steam platform. That is what shortcuts use aswell. Try to replicate it idk, try it.
@srluk Everything can be customized and changed to work with LCPDFR, FiveM, RAgeHook etc. If you know how to do it sure I allow everyone to do it! I dont own any of those which is why I havent make one. (yet)
UPDATE RELEASED BOYYZZZZ
JUST UPDATED. MADE 2 VERSIONS AGAIN FOR THE SCRIPT... ADDED A NEW VERSION WHICH WONT TOUCH YOUR SYSTEM POWER SETTINGS AS REQUESTED. THE OTHER ONE STILL THE SAME.
@itzethan2k No I have not made any changes lolwat. What are you trying to say. I'd appreciate if you would act like a person not an insulting uncivilized ape. This was engineered to be idiot proof aswell so there is no way to "fck up" your game lol.... Either learn to read or use a computer. Thank you for the constructive feedback!
looks like an average milf lol but good
UPDATE: I've added new stuff to it related to the new R* launcher, turns out this new move by rockstar runs like 4 - 5 sub processes in the background while you play... all of those are now set to low priority except for one which I can't make it to self set its priority to low unless I manually do it with the task manager.... that said, it is for steam only for now because I can't find a way to launch the retail version. For Steam versions it is easier since steam will automatically launch the new R* client both gta5 at the same time.
ADDED ALL THE NEW SUB-PROCESSES RELATED TO THE NEW R* CLIENT - SADLY IT IS FOR STEAM ONLY. HOWEVER IF YOU ARE A RETAIL USER YOU CAN MANUALLY LAUNCH GTA V THEN RUN THE OPTIMIZER ONCE GTA5.EXE IS RUNNING.
