Столкнулся с такой-же проблемой и долго не мог найти решение. В итоге оказалось что всё дело в gameconfig ссылка на который указана в файле Read me.
Попробуйте скачать с другого источника.
У меня после этого проблема исчезла.
Everyone whose game crashes on startup. I encountered the same problem and couldn't find a solution for a long time. In the end, it turned out that the whole thing was in the gameconfig, the link to which is indicated in the Read me file. Try downloading from another source. After this my problem disappeared.

I can not understand and find how to enable the mod. I press F9, activate the mod and just stand still. What needs to be done or clicked?
