Nothing to do with the mod, but in the video when you're listing off the different fast food places, at 3:20... it's not "Biskop's" it's "Bishop's" like, a chess piece/church leader. Hence the logo is a mix of a chick and a Bishop's hat.
The problem some people are experiencing about the phone contact being missing or calling 2 contacts at the same time is because of the packed in version of iFruitAddon2. Do not use it. Download a version from https://github.com/Bob74/iFruitAddon2/releases
For some reason in my game any version 3.1.0 and up is broken and causes overlapping contacts as well as some other pre-packed copy from a different mod caused flickering with other menus. I have 3.0.1 and it works perfectly without overlap or flickering.
Also, why does this mod make the bottom phone buttons look different? It doesn't in the first picture but in game, my buttons look wrong
@santaniellodaniel yes
Also there is a tree that Lamar grazes with his car in the first mission right as you exit the multi-story carpark to go through the single level parking lot and into the Union Depository. He's on a set path and just keeps going so it's not a big deal, not to mention that it's only a scrape. But it's still something I'd look at.
Also, something that I never noticed before, but ended up happening while trying to play through the story with this mod - If you enter a mission, and the game has to zoop to the next morning or whatever, your bars go down as if you actually just stood there all night, which I suppose makes sense, but also means you just die if it's a long time zoop. Granted, the game just then puts you to after the cutscene in the mission, but it's still quite irritating. At least when there's an instant time jump, like in the jewel store heist, it's fine. I'm not sure if you can even really fix it, like you said the timers are based on in-game time, and it's in-game time that's progressing. For now I'll just try to enter missions from more appropriate times of day
Mm, quick thing I noticed, not at all a big deal, the "Press E to pick up bag" text doesn't change depending on your keybinds (I'm not even sure if that's a thing that can be fixed), in my game that button is X. It actually correctly uses X for me, just the text itself is wrong. Again, like I said, not a big deal in my book.
Also, something about having the sleep option be in a menu makes it actually less bad for me, like, yes, I would love paid hotels and possibly a "free sleep/owned bed" marker too (for like an apartment mod) but actually, having it not just be a keybind and instead be a menu option is... alright. It's not bad now.
yooooo you actually updated the mod. The new menus look sooo much better (like, I was astonished at how much better). The bars are still a little in the way, being over the location and car name popups, also if someone's got a speedometer mod, that's gonna conflict, but it's still way better than how it was. Very very happy that I can now adjust the speeds in the config, thanks a million. Although, I'm still waiting on those hotel markers. :) :)
just a note, there's a few typos in your description ("buffel bag," "you ill find the bags") and maybe referring to the mod menu as the "main menu" could be rethought. I was stupidly looking in the actual pause menu for a sleep option. Maybe I'm just stupid though lol.
Did what @floydturbo said 6 comments ago, works perfect on current patch.
@Rtx_grafix Right, I get why the bars do that, but why not just have them move half the speed, and turn red at 50%? it would be functionally the same, just less confusing. Regardless, they are in the way of subtitles, and that's really annoying. If they were just, a lot smaller, and like maybe over top of the minimap, that'd be ok.
And I appreciate that you're trying to stick to realistic values, but there's no harm in letting the user configure the numbers themselves. Currently, if I really wanted, I could make one of the food items completely restore all hunger/thirst/sleep and make it cost $1, but that would defeat the purpose of the mod.
Honestly, if the bars were just moved/shrunk like I said, that would bump this to a 6.5/10 easy. I still think I would need to be able to configure the numbers to actually want to play this though (and by the way, my days are vanilla length).
If you ever do feel like doing a big update, changing the "sleep anywhere" system to a "sleep at hotels/motels for a cost" would be awesome (but I understand if that's outside the scope of what you want to do)
Cool mod, but I did notice 2 things you might want to change - 1st, The garbage bin outside Franklin's old house, it is placed where the van spawns in Hood Safari and at least for me, had to be moved before I could enter the van - 2nd, the "Gifts at the Pier" stall thing at Vangelico where the Epsilonist is, It's in the way during the Nigel and Mrs. Thornhill mission where you chase the famous lady's dog, the dog runs into the stall and gets stuck and has to teleport forward to continue running away. Also, it's called "gifts at the pier" which makes no sense in the middle of Rockford Hills.
