@Lynx- everything you see in content.xml is what the mod decides to read (you can ignore the data folder in x64, i believe, as its only for selling the weapon in ammunation. but R* removed that option when mk2 weapons came out)
@Mazurinas yeah, but like i said, most people replace the fictional ones GTA has with their real models. I replaced the carbine with an m4 model and the carbine mk2 with an m16 model (yes even though the mk2 carbine isnt exactly an m16, there's no need to follow along exactly what gta parodies). and same thing with the assault rifle and ak-47. I dont think anyone really wants to keep the chinese remake of the AK in game anyway. its easier to just replace than go thru the effort of making a whole addon for a weapon that's sorta already in the game
@Mazurinas I was already on the works with a mac10/11 but im not too sure about an m4 or ak since most people replace the assault rifle with a proper ak model anyway, same thing with the carbine rifle with m4 or m16
@Yukikaze it works almost perfectly, nice. I think to make it 100% it would need a smaller .ytd image for the projection of the light. Maybe I could figure how to make an addon texture to that rather than replace the gta one to make it so there’s an option between having a flash or laser sight.
@Yukikaze that’s interesting, I was trying that too but with less success. That’s why you see I made a custom flashlight attachment in the hopes that I could make it a laser sight. I couldn’t get it to work so I scrapped it but left the attachment on. You’re welcome to give it a shot tho, the flashlight is on the weapon components file inside the mod
@kuebrick pubg has never been too great with their realism. not their fault tho. the game is supposed to be fun
