All of us here at the GTA Realism Team have committed ourselves to providing you with best possible GTA V wanted level experience. Best lore friendly models, incredible variety, reworked AI, enhanced dispatch and unique wanted level spawning extension script will provide you with an unique experience on a scale that has never been seen before in GTA V, all in one easy-to-install package.

RDE 3.0 - Robust, Detailed, Enhanced
3.0 brings a plethora of new features - there are too many to count. New agencies, six stars, even more vehicles, custom ped models, powerful scripts - RDE just got bigger, badder, and better! 3.0 expands on 2.2, while redoing many of the features from scratch. We are certain that you will love 3.0.

RDE DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
RDE is:
Lore Friendly - each of the changes introduced does not stand out from the GTA universe created by Rockstar Games. The concepts introduced out by Rockstar have instead been expanded and revamped with loving care.
Realistic - many of the introduced changes bring GTA V closer to the real-life - examples include new AI behaviors and tactics, agency jurisdictions, response types and more. However, realistic does not mean real - it’s still the GTA universe, just better.
Detailed - every aspect of the mod has been perfected to the tiniest detail, from higher quality models and textures to new police stations. Even the tiny details such as port police officers replacing private security in relevant places in the Port of South LS are included, and many more details have been added to already existing models.
Fun - RDE has been made to be a challenging but fun experience. The specialized, built-from-ground-up wanted level system allows for truly epic chases and shootouts - but watch out! Cops have some new tools in their equipment, and they know how to use them - to great effect. True Sixth Star has been added - can you survive the law enforcement agencies of San Andreas throwing everything they have at you?

RDE improves and expands old law enforcement agencies and brings new ones to the GTA world, based on real-life ones yet seamlessly integrated into the universe, providing unparalleled variety, with no cut corners. Outrun the San Andreas Highway Patrol on the freeways, play hide-and-seek with San Andreas State Parks Rangers, meet Los Santos Sheriff’s Department in LS County and more.

Law Enforcement Agencies:

Local:
Los Santos Police Department (LSPD),
Los Santos Sheriff Department (LSSD),
Blaine County Sheriff's Office (BCSO, optional add-on),
Los Santos Port Authority Police (PAP),
Los Santos International Airport Police (LSIAPD)
State:
San Andreas Highway Patrol (SAHP),
San Andreas State Park Rangers (SASP),
San Andreas Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (SADCR),
San Andreas National Guard (Military)
Federal:
National Office of Security Enforcement (NOOSE),
Federal Investigation Bureau (FIB, expanded in optional add-on),
United States Coast Guard (USCG)

Each agency has unique and detailed lore friendly vehicles and custom made peds. Not only they will patrol their respective zones, but thanks to the new wanted system they will appear in their respective jurisdictions.

Military response is present and reactive - if you are flying in an airplane or helicopter while wanted, expect to soon notice military fighters on your radar. Rampages in tanks are no longer unstoppable - fire will be fought with fire. PAYDAY & Call of Duty inspired Juggernauts will spawn at higher wanted levels. All of this is configurable.

Dispatch system has been almost completely replaced by a custom made script, allowing for six stars, configurability and advanced AI. Choose one of the provided presets, or make your own - you can tailor almost every aspect of the mod to your likings.

Arrest Warrant & Better Chases mod has been completely integrated and updated with new features and extra configurability not found in the original version.

All of the features from Crime and Police Rebalance & Enhancement have been included, with even more AI and meta changes than before.

Optional add-ons - The Sheriffs of Blaine, Federal Law and Emergency! are provided in the download. We recommend to install them all for complete experience, but they are not required to run RDE.

Thanks to Cass, we are proud to include a standalone (no need to install WOV separately), compatible version of his amazing mod World of Variety in our download as an optional installation option. You do not need to worry yourself about making two of your favorite mods work together - we did this for you. Just select the option in the installer, and enjoy WOV with RDE.

For your convenience we’ve included Spawn MP Vehicles in SP by drp4lyf as an optional patch for those who use WOV or want to spawn these vehicles in SP.

RDE is also a perfect base for LSPDFR mod. You can install RDE and the provided backup.xml and enjoy the ultimate LSPDFR experience with no hassle, taking advantage of all the new RDE vehicles and peds. We have also included configuration files for several popular plugins, such as ArrestManager by Albo1125, CustomBackup and BetterEMS by PNWParksFan and CopHolster by PieRGud.

A dedicated RDE Package Creator will allow you to configure your RDE installation in a similar fashion to FOMOD/Nexus installers for Skyrim/Fallout and create an OIV package you only need to install with OpenIV Package Manager. No more fuss with files!

FAQ’s

Q: I noticed a bug, how should I submit a report for it to be fixed?
A: Please provide a brief explanation of the bug and submit your logs. To do this open SixStarResponse.ini and make the following changes: “Debug=1” “NativeDebug=1” then save the ini. Reproduce the bug and open your SixStarResponse.log, gather the contents, use pastebin.com to post the log contents, and then submit the link to us with your description.

Q: The HUD elements beside the wanted stars aren’t aligned properly. Can this be fixed?
A: The HUD elements should be aligned as shown here: http://imgur.com/TI0wgeM if yours doesn’t look like this you may need to edit your safezone-size like so: http://imgur.com/SLS2AKt

Q: Please help! I’m getting crash issues upon loading the game or selecting story mode.
A: There’s numerous things that could cause this. If a new dlc is released it will require a new gameconfig file to be created, if you have an exceeding amount of extra vehicles with RDE that could cause issues with gameconfig as well. Our advice: Remove everything and start with a fresh mods folder (yes remove any other scripts as well) then install only rde and slowly add the others back one by one; testing with each addition.

Q: I do not own a legal copy of the game, will this mod still work?
A: Whether it works or not you’re on your own. We created this mod based on the official game release and will not support any other version of the game. Please do not ask us for support or de-tour our comments/forums with this discussion.

Q: I have agencies spawning outside of their jurisdiction. What could cause this?
A: 3.0 has completely rewritten the police system and so dispatch.meta is now limited to only spawning roadblocks and SWAT helicopters; the rest is handled via script. There’s other things that could cause this but as a good rule of thumb it’s imperative that you use the dispatch.meta we’ve provided and not one from another mod unless specifically stated it was made for RDE 3.0.

Q: Does RDE support SP missions / Will we add this feature?
A: In 3.0 you will most likely experience issues with some SP missions while others may work fine. It would be a big undertaking to ensure complete compatibility and so we would need the enlistment of the community to submit their logs. (See how to submit a bug report above)

Q: Can I develop my own configs for RDE and submit them on GTA5-mods/LSPDFR?
A: Not only are you allowed to do this but we encourage you to do so! However you are not permitted to share our files, models, scripts, etc. Only the config files are to be shared so be sure to have your users install RDE first before adding your mod/edits.

For those that are still having issues with memory crashes here's another gameconfig I've created for you. Let me know if it helps.

    https://www.mediafire.com/?jw7jw6jb7iu1vw8

    Troubleshooting:

    * Package not installing? Run OpenIV as an administrator, then go to Tools/Package Manager, navigate to and select your RDE_V3.OIV file (in Build folder).
    * Make sure your mods folder is empty
    * Make sure you have OpenIV.asi in your GTA V folder

    Required for RDE to work:

    https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/script-hook-v
    https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/scripthookv-net

So it seems like a lot are confused on how to install this since this is a pretty unique method, so here is a quick write up:

    1. Extract the zip file anywhere and do not move anything from that folder

    2. Run RDEInstaller.exe. If you are on Windows 8 or newer, you may get a Windows Smart Screen message, just ignore and click run anyway. We cross our hearts that this is in no way, shape, or form malicious.

    3. Pick options from within the exe. Note: If you choose the World of Variety option make sure you have a script that enables MP cars! If not, choose the option to include one!

    4. After the .oiv is built, CLEAN OUT YOUR MODS FOLDER AND ANYTHING THAT LOADS MP MAPS and use OpenIV to install it.

    5. Add in any other mods.

@NefariousBonne That's not necessary. All he has to do is just put RDE code inside the realism files, without replacing the file itself. If he's working on that to be released in 1.0, then that's all i need to know. Thank you for the fast reply, can't wait to see updates. :)

This mod is breaking many quests on single player story mode. When Franklin has to steal Michael's kid's SUV, always fail upon entering the house. When Franklin gets set up by the guy he kidnapped, cannot open the green door. When Trevor gets the sniper mission, Ron instantly dies on first two sections. Also some side missions are impossible, such as saving Michael's wife from the cops (car was floating, and then empty and unable to interact with) and Trevor's rampage mission (all the rednecks instantly die when they spawn or something).

I'm having a weird issue. if I install RDE with any options (only I have tried is Arcade), even if I just go with the default RDE that is included, I never get hardly ANY police response.
I have tried with no mods other than RDE, RDE and LSPDFR, but no matter what I can go commit a crime, get wanted levels and cops do not respond. The worst that happens is a police helicopter will follow me around, but no cars or officers respond. I had a 6 star wanted level is downtown LS, had murdered 2 cops in cold blood and wanted for twent minutes and not a single cop showed up. Own police chopper kept circling around but that was it. I tried with Trevor, Franklin and Mike. Didnt matter.

Install never gave me any issues or errors.
Everything from RDE installed like it should.
Game runs flawlessly at 60 FPS.

    What is the issue?

@zebra You should of known that modding your game, would affect your missions. After all it's replacing the original game files, if you want to stick with your missions, i suggest you to first complete the game and then install heavy mods such as this one and others like Realism 0.9

I don't know much about your game but i'll suggest you to:
Start "OpenIV>Tools>Asi Manager>" then uninstall all three, this will make the game to use original files which are in main directory, instead of the ones in mods folder.

Note: This will work only if you have mods installed inside the mods folder.

@Wohlever I have said it many times - read the description. You are missing Scripthooks. Without them, the spawning won't work.

@zebra GTA Missions are extremely delicate. You have to be careful on what graphics mods, functionality mods, and car mods installed when you do them because they possibly can make the missions unstable, impossible to complete, or create some very amusing glitches.

I personally have a separate game-save specifically for all the story missions and keep that separated from the RDE update.rpf and the RDE scripts. I suggest you do the same.

@TRDOffroad97 I don't think graphics, functionality & car mods affect save games. I've been using the same save game since GTA installation, when i want to start over or start other missions, i just disable mods and all works fine.

@Darkwolf96 your right I'm sorry for not being specific enough. What I meant to say is that I have a separate GTA directory for playing story missions. In that directory, I do not have visual mods or funtionality mods. I sometimes use some car mods depending on what glitches occour with them during a mission.

Like I had a Chevy Express replace Lamar's van and, that mission where he kidnapped someone, the guy was sitting down in a weird position downside. Othewise, for Chasing Lazlow, it works out well!

@HeySlickThatsMe Fifty - fifty brother. What matters is, original game is original game, if we want to play story missions, we'd better disable mods for the true experience, knowing that nothing will occur to bug/glitch/crash the game missions in someway. Which is why now i have a game copy without any mods, so i don't even have to disable them when i want to play missions, i think it's the best way to deal with it. But after completing the game, nothing else will make me want to continue playing, which is why i ended up in modding sites.

@Dilapidated maybe this was already asked, but just in case... there is any way to include new peds as cops? I checked the XML files but it looks we just can replace them. I'd like to include Freemode MP peds with police outfits.

RDE is sure to be a great mod... but yet I cannot get it installed...
Everytime I tried to open RDE_V3.oiv from OpenIV's package installer, OpenIV keeps showing error about "bad assembly file" and I couldn't get RDE installed:/

    @joshbon007 It does.
@EnforcerZhukov ResponsePeds.xml, you can't define peds which are then used in ResponseVehicles.xml
