@ExactHoboSoup This is most likely a sign that something has gone wrong during installation, or very rare but possible, conflicting with other mods. Once again, I can't stress this enough, I have tested this mod on clean copies of GTA V and everything worked as intended. I even gave it to other well known modders before release to test on their end and provide some screenshots at the time, they also had no issues. I would like nothing more than to help you out and get it working, but If I can't replicate the issue on my end, there is not allot that I can really do I'm afraid. Sorry man ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@MrKote A prime example of a mod pack which has love and soul poured into every model, while still respecting the works of both its inspiration and the many others who's contributions helped it become a reality. You've truely outdone yourself with this one!
@prince_linus Well I literally just installed it there on a clean copy of GTA V (map mod broke stuff and had to reinstall) and did not have any of the issues you mentioned. That is probbably either an underlying problem with your game overall or you've clearly done something wrong during the install. Sorry, but I can't really help you further if I am unable to replicate the issue on my end ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@Electricspider23 And you are sure its the update.rpf vehiclesmeta? It should be there, make sure you are trying it on a completely clean vanilla version, no other mods like RDE or whatever that require vehicles.meta changes. Like I said, Ive checked the file and the data entries for POLICE4 are there, I gave this to serveral testers before release and they had no issues with installing it, also going back to a previous version won't solve much, it installs exactly the same way as many Replace DLC mods require. Sorry I can't be of further help, but this seems like an issue entirely on your end ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@Electricspider23 You don't directly drop the file into the game, you copy and paste the meta lines from said file into the main vehicles.meta located within update.rpf. Also I have checked, data for POLICE4 is there, you must have overlooked it
"A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one"
@bladetc You may upload the colour variations itself, but not the actual Taxi model. Instead, simply link to this mod within the description tab of your said mod. Thanks!
Hey man, its good that you want to use my NFS pack as a base for these skins. Though I have to ask that you please change the following things: One; please provide a direct link to my original Most Wanted 2012 mod here on the site, that way people will know where it came from and can get the models required. Two; Please rework the credits section, I can tell you've just copied it from my original mod. Frankly its just really lazy.
Please make these changes to any other your mods that use my Most Wanted'12 pack as a base. Thanks
@The_Mookster If WOV uses the same partial mapped Taxi model as the vanilla game then it might work, but once again I don't make my mods to be really compatible other existing mods/overhauls. So that'll be something on your end to try, glad you like the Improved Taxi though!
@The_Mookster I don't know anything about what WOV does so I'm gonna say no. I did want to make the colour grille an variation option, but sadly extra slots kinda made that not be a thing. If I ever touch this mod again, Ill defo keep a more vanilla chrome grille in mind
