  • @spitmux Hey man, your mod is incredible. There's just one bug—a small, silly thing—but if you fix it, I'd travel across the world to give you a kiss lol. The character at the pump is holding the hose with their left hand, whereas your video shows the correct animation using the right hand. That was the only bug I found. I was wondering if you might do something related to electric vehicles in the future—not that I personally care, but someone else might ask for it. Congrats on the most realistic mod I've ever seen. By the way, I actually tested it on the legacy version.

Hey man, to rephrase what I said earlier: regarding immersion, it works perfectly when I play with a controller. It’s with the keyboard that the icons wouldn't disappear—so when moving with WASD, it doesn't feel as dynamic. Also, the way I see it, your mod should be under the "Scripts" tab rather than "Miscellaneous."

  • @D3F4L7_ Hey bro, I tested version 9.1. You made it possible to move everything around, which is really cool, but you forgot to add the actual menu.

Currently, the weapon icon is hidden when moving things around. It would be nice to add this in a future update.

The arrow system ended up looking like a GPS. I got really excited thinking they were the vehicle turn signals that would blink when you followed the marked route, lol.

I know the idea is immersion, but it would be nice to add a system where the entire HUD disappears even while you're walking, and only becomes active during action scenes or something like that. Right now, it only disappears when we're completely standing still.

It would also be nice if the map disappeared while on foot and only became enabled when getting into a vehicle.

    Excellent mod, bro!

  • @The Majestic Noob Damn, bro, that's super cool. If you tack on a hanging mechanic, it’ll turn into a parkour mod—you'll get to that level in no time. Amazing stuff.

  • @thalilmythos Yeah, you're right. I didn't quite get it when I read about the mod; I thought it would still give you all 8 weapons, but just one per slot—kind of like yours. That's what happens when you comment before testing it out, lol.

Do you think this mod is better than your limited-weapons mod? I still haven't found a mod better than Infamous Sabre's "pickups" mod—though he took it down, I still have a copy saved on my machine—but I've also been using your mod for various tests.

  • @fbicat Hey man, the mod is insane! There are just a few things left to polish, and here are some of them:

The mod currently can't distinguish between a PlayStation and Xbox controller. It seems to be based entirely on PlayStation controls. Sometimes the controls also get mixed up with mouse and keyboard inputs. Using mouse and keyboard is quite unstable, while the controller works really well.

When holding L1/LB or TAB, we can open the weapon wheel, but the function that used to work with a single press has been lost — putting the weapon away and taking it back into your hand, basically like a quick-draw feature, without having to open the weapon wheel.

Regarding the weapons-on-back configuration, I noticed that it seems to be based on the pelvis skeleton, which doesn't really match the way the body moves around the waist and back. Because of that, the weapons move in a strange way when the character moves.

I would recommend using the back/spine skeleton for long guns, and possibly adding another system for smaller weapons at the waist, such as pistols. That way, pistols could be positioned on the pelvis, on the side, in the front, or even on the back if the user wants.

By the way, I still haven't figured out how the wallet and bank money system works. How are we supposed to transfer money from one to the other? I haven't noticed any changes to the bank websites, ATMs, or any locations on the map where these transfers can be made.

    Congratulations on the excellent mod!

  • @fbicat What would be the reason for the weapon wheel being larger than the entire screen, as if it were set for a 4K resolution? By the way, which version of scriptHookDotNet were you using, please?

  • @TonyTheKid Hey man, I'm about to test your mod, but I wanted to ask: would it be possible to add a feature like the GTA 6 siren system? You know, where the lights help you spot the police, and the glow gets fainter as they move further away. I realize your mod doesn't strictly need this—since the goal is a more realistic experience where the player relies on their own driving—but could it be included in a future update? Even just as an optional setting to toggle on or off in-game?
