AS OF VERSION 2.8 BAKAMANIA'S AWESOME SOUND MOD WILL BE REQUIRED!

Welcome to Ripplers Realism I found many weapon mods for gta 5 to be a little off if you feel the same way then this might be what you are looking for in this mod every single firearm and launcher has been tweaked as well as a few vehicles to feel more immersive and responsive and more reflect their real life counterparts. This has many unique features but here are some of them:

-grenade launcher rounds explode on impact instead of that stupid bounce
-higher rates of fire for all weapons, bolts and slides cycle much faster they no longer look like there in slow motion
-more realistic recoil guns feel very responsive
-realistic muzzle velocity,damage and range depending on caliber and barrel length requiring much more skill to hit targets especially moving ones ( this applies to npc's as well)
-added muzzle effects to weapons that didn't have them the barrel will smoke for a longer time after sustained fire
-increased range for weapon light and gave it a real UV color
-low velocity rounds will do far less damage to body armor then before
-optional files such as bullet penetration, heavy shotgun conversion and a few more.

And much more has been done hope you enjoy this mod I spent alot of time on it this mod will be expanded upon as time progresses and my knowledge grows of the games code much is planned so stay tuned !!!!!!! You can find all the installation details in the README file that comes with the download as of V1.8 the installation process is an absolute snap and is much less time consuming.

FULL CHANGELOG INCLUDED WITH THE DOWNLOAD BE SURE TO READ IT IF YOU WANT TO SEE EVERYTHING THAT'S BEEN DONE IT'S QUITE A LARGE LIST SO ITS WITH THE DOWNLOAD.


NOTE: There is currently an issue with completing the mission Nervous Ron the lights cannot be shot out in that mission because of the changes I made to the Sniper Rifle.My mod does not effect light shooting (in fact it increases the range it can be done) in the rest of the game its only a problem with this mission. Credit to Anach for discovering this.

    Alright everyone I know many of you have been on my case for not updating this mod with the new Mp Biker content, but I finally updated this mod and it should be up shortly. The main changes obviously are the additions of the new MpBiker firearms to my mod with all the usual modifications I do to weapons and also several bug fixes the homing launcher works again and the vehiclelayouts.meta no longer creates cars with nobody spawning in them also new weapons were added to that file. As per usual if you own a pirated version of the game I cannot help you with that because I do not know that versions issues, you will have to troubleshoot yourself if you own a pirated version. With all that being said I don't play this game much at all these days but people have been kind to me so here is an update enjoy it !!!!!!

    @Rippler what can i edti to speed up the reloading rate of the weapons? also,after installing this along with CPRE i noticed the amount of cops is lower and the granger comes only with 1 ped

    @jonesgaming Okay so under the main weapons.meta file in the mod look for this heading weapon_stungun once you there look for these two lines under the heading <Damage value="-1.000000" />
    <DamageTime value="15.000000" /> the first value with a -1 means it will not do any actual damage to the ped only stun them the second value tells the first how long to apply the stun for in this case 15 seconds change the numbers to whatever you would prefer hope that helps you out.

    @warg666 Thanks for that appreciate the kind words. To answer your question go into whatever weapons.meta file the gun you want to change the reload rate for and look for the following lines under that weapons heading example weapon_pistol : <VehicleReloadTime value="1.000000" />
    <AnimReloadRate value="0.700000" /> The first value is for how long it takes to reload the weapon in vehicles the higher the number the longer time it will take to do so. The second value is the reload rate animation speed on foot this is the more important number change it back to a 1 for the default speed or increase the number even more to make the animation reload rate faster which will speed up your reloading rate overall I hope that helps.

    can i use only the folders on the dlc_patch without any major bugs or complications? also i've noticed that i don't have a mpbiker folder there even with the biker dlc installed and running ok,is that right? thanks again and here your stars,you more than deserve it

    @warg666 Unfortunately no sorry man alot of the dlc_patch files call on the base files for content you could try it I guess but it might be wierd. Also thanks for that rating and being patient all the best to ya thanks for commenting.

    @alalbean90 Alrighty go into the damages.meta file which can be found in my mod folder under update.rpf/common/data/action once your in the file search for this line <Name>DAR_knockout</Name> below that heading you will see some numbers and a few other categories below also with values most of the headings are pretty self explanatory so just play around with the numbers the lower the number the less damage is inflicted on a ped.     @OpticalNuke Some doors classify as a weird material in the game engine so I could not make certain things penetrable because it would affect to many objects that have really beefy material thickness like construction steel beams things of that nature so that is why its just a limitation of the game engine I cannot isolate doors to a single material hope that makes sense.

    @SheFartsRainbows More realistic you can't carry as much its in the middle honestly I didn't go all the way so you had almost nothing but also you can't carry as many bullets as an entire platoon like in default hope that makes sense.

    @SheFartsRainbows Sure go into the main weapons.meta file in my mod and search for this line <Name>AMMO_PISTOL</Name> once their you will see some numbers below it and also the other ammo count categories change the numbers to whatever you like let me know how that goes.

    @jonesgaming Yes you can use the street rage of brawling files you mentioned with my mod without any issues I believe. As to all the changes in those files they can be found in the changelog included with my mod hope that helps you out.
