CHANGELOG V 9.0.5 12/29/2016

- Corrected the color value for the Police Helicopter's searchlight. It was too blue due to human error whilst editing the visualsetting.dat
- Increased the intensity of interior light, it was too weak.
- Toned down the brightness of emissive settings for general emergency light and sirens. If it is still too bright for your taste, decrease the value from 3000 lower to between 2000-1000 range. Just tweak it until you find the sweet spot.

INSTALLATION

1. Using OpenIV, replace the visualsettings.dat in GTA V/update/update.rpf/common/data with the new one supplied in this download.

2. replace the graphics.ytd in GTA V/update/update.rpf/x64/textures

- There is a fix for all Orange lights on Staniers, just install that "Amber lights and Clear Lightbar" mod.You need to replace the files inside the .ytd files. The tutorial from FirstThirtyMinutes is very helpfull. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYWbyPj7Fso (You can find the mod in the description as well) And you maybe need to replace it in multiple files (i needed to do it in Patchday3ng,Patchday5ng and x64e) It works for the sheriff,the undercover car and the normal one.

I've included a link with a report comparing the two files. One contained a clean (but out of date) visualsettings.dat file while the other was the modified file.

The file is very simple to read.
In between the = signs contains the line number, followed by the original value, you can then compare it to the value directly under it which will be the modified value.

    @Bass75 I think it has to do with a set of values in the visuals file being set to over 3000+ each XD. I've attempted to "nerf" as they say, these values, but doing so decreases the intensity of both taxi cabs, and LED lighting on police vehicles. Unfortunately, it seems as though the same set of "interior lights" values are used for both taxi lights and light bars for vehicles in the game.

    Works great, but the issue I run into is that emergency vehicles with the rotating lights (outside of the LSPD van) are glitched in terms of the lights don't move, or will twitch. Seems it's tied to the carcols.ymt for this package as I tried swapping the visualsettings.dat and graphics.ytd without a change.

    @Reav open the visualsettings you're found( #Values for rain GPU particle effect
    rain.NumberParticles) slow down the number if you need to slow the light the

    @GravelRoadCop Why too blooms, lights and police siren lights are too brighter at night and in interior building like in heaven? I think same as @Reav problem but im using GTA 5 Redux mod. What lines name in visualsettings.dat to setting the blooms and lights at night to make the lower value?

    @Nafizz96 From bit of trial and error I believe the line emissive bits section is what is causing the lights to bloom, I copied this section over and then reverted to redux mod and it's that section that causes it

    @GravelRoadCop Very good, but I have a problem with the sirens, when I go in the police car either, and I have an accident or small blow the siren is restarted and it comes back from the beginning, every hit with the car the siren is restarted.

    Any solution?
