CARISMA V - NEXT GEN VEHICLE SCRIPT

Why another vehicle mod?
Carisma V not only has next generation menus, but it is much better organized than any Trainer. One mouse click generally is all it takes, no more searching through menus. You even have a one click function to enable MP online Maps.
Carisma V also allows user defined categories and proper vehicle descriptions. In my own installed vehicles over 80% have non descriptive names and/or incorrect brands. To correct these in the vehicle meta files would take considerable time. Carisma facilitates this process by editing a simple text file, allowing correct brands and proper descriptions.
ℹ️ Requirements (Only tested in legacy)
Current version of SHVDN and Open 4 (editor and asi) for addon and dlclist item
LemonUI (only used to display messages - has nothing to do with menus)
Newtonsoft (included - modern way to handle persistence).
ℹ️ Installation (Step by Step included in download, CarismaHelp.html) If you don't have a file association with hml, right click the file and select open with [your browser]
Current Features
✔️ 1. Super HUD
FPS, Map Coordinates, Trip Distance, Weather, Game Time, Location with cross streets and 8 directions, Full location descriptions (Highway not Hwy)
Identification of: Player Vehicle, Closest Vehicle, Closest Ped, Companion Ped, Accurate vehicle descriptions: HD Sportster, not 117 or devNameHDsport
Body and Engine Health, Gasoline, Speed and RPM, Trip time and Destination Display, Session Play Time, Paint Colour Slider, etc.
❗❗❗ Super HUD Ped and Vehicle Identification: approach any ped and vehicle (addon or vanilla), and they will be identified by spawn name along with hex and decimal spawn codes. Optionally you can add any description. For example i have a bike that spawns as "117" (which is a HD Sportster) can be easily edited to be viewed as Harley Davidson 883 Sportster (or your choice) rather than 117.
Also that Ford GT you installed, the one identified incorrectly as a vanilla brand, can now be corrected - without Open 4 meta data edits.
✔️ 2. Persistence on Demand
Save any vehicle and spawn it. This was implemented with a modern approach using JSON (text files) rather than outdated binary (bin) of all other persistence scripts. Why on demand? Files are saved and persistent but require selection to spawn, by design, for memory optimization - to help prevent crashes when pushing the game limits too far.
✔️ 3. Auto Drive
This is a purely text menu and is 100% functional. Will add more destinations but currently you set a waypoint and drive to it. The distance will be calculated and displayed in the Super HUD. There is also trip distance available for your session.
✔️ 4. Vehicle Functions
Innovative Mouse/Key driven Image menu. All the functions imaginable: Doors, Windows, Alarms, Turn signals (indicators,hazards), Engine, Headlights, Interior lights, seats (checks for number available), locks, modkits, extras, colour variations, liveries etc. AutoRepair, Invinicible
Extras are normalized. What does that mean. Lazy devs will create vehicles with extras as 1, 2, 23, 49, instead of 1,2,3,4. This fixes this issue.
ℹ️ FOR NEW USERS (Newbs/noobs): Very few vehicles support all functions. For example interior/cabin lights, mods/modkits, and extras are not available in all vehicles. Even functions like hoods and trunks might not be available in certain vehicles. This has nothing to do with the script.

Innovative Image Key driven menu. View vehicles before you spawn. Tested with 5,000 images but is theoretically unlimited (don't try to spawn 5000 however). You can use your own images.
✔️ 6. Vehicle Organization By Category
User defined unlimited categories: Brand (Ferrari), Class (SUV), Type (Boats, Bikes, Exotics, Utililty, Super Cars, Planes, etc), Favorites, etc. You choose!
A vehicle can be placed in several categories without any issues.
✔️ 7. LS Customs, Upper and Lower Floor Garage and Tuners Garage. You can enable MP Maps from the script, no need for the trainer.
Benny's could be added in a future release (from scratch). Other garages will be added as well (10 car, 6 car, 2 car).
✔️ 8. Integrated HTML help, from GTA V or outside game. 🆘
✔️ 9. Many other features such as the babe magnet, elimination mode, etc.

Please note: due to file size, and ownership, the mod only contains some sample images. You can find preview images here on 5MODs and there are also links in the html files included in this download. The preview image name is the spawn name of your vehicle.
For best results use smaller images, for example 384 x 216. The documentation included also gives you links for free and safe bulk resizers online (no account required). You can create as many categories as you want. This is also described in the included documentation html files. Just dump your images in a category folder and they will magically appear in the menu.
a few utilities here for modding, appreciate the showing of ids and models when approaching entities
@thalilmythos I'm glad you found it useful, but this also brings up an important point. There are 2 file that respectively contain the data for ped and vehicle identification. They are pre-populated for many peds and vehicles but are not fully updated for the latest versions. It will be up to the users to maintain them. The true value of these files is that you can put whatever descriptions you want for addons, vanilla, replaces, etc.
