Installation
1. Make sure you have Microsoft .Net Framework 4.5.2 and Visual C++ for 2015 (x64) installed.
2. Copy EVERYTHING from the scripts folder into the scripts folder in the main GTA 5 folder OR copy the whole scripts folder into the main GTA 5 folder.
3. Start GTA 5 as Admin.


DLC Installation (optional)
1. Copy the "knight" folder into "Grand Theft Auto V/update/x64/dlcpacks/"
2. Start OpenIV and extract "GTA V/update/update.rpf/common/data/dlclist.xml"
3. Open the extracted "dlclist.xml" with the Notepad and add this Line to it:
"<Item>dlcpacks:\knight\</Item>"
4. Put the extracted "dlclist.xml" back in.
5. Done


Update

Abilities
- K.I.T.T is invincible
- K.I.T.T can drive on water



Keys  
Menu:
- Num8/2 = Up/Down
- Num5 = Return

Out of K.I.T.T:
- F10 = Activate/Deactivate Mod
- Num+ = Opens Menu
- Num1 = Follow/Unfollow
- Num2 = Drive to Waypoint
- Decimal = Flip KITT
- Num- = Remove KITT/Reset

Both:
- Num1 = Drive to Waypoint (Use W or S to turn off)
- Num4/6 = Skimode
- Num5 = Rocket (Load/Fire)
- Num7 = Remove Police
- Num8 = EMP (Makes every car near K.I.T.T useless)
- Num9 = Equipment for Player (Armor + Pistol)
- Shift = Turbo Boost
- Comma = Flip KITT

Dominator:
- Num0 = Transformations
- Num2 = Minigun (Load/Fire)
- Num3 = Fire Extinguisher
- Divide = Camouflage
- Multiply(Hold) = Parachute (Only in Air)
- Ctrl + Num2/5 = Unload Rocket/Minigun

Ruiner:
- Num0 = Super Pursuit Mode (Higher Performance)
- Num2 = Smoke Screen (Removed/Coming Soon)


Settings
Volume, Sound, Animation and Key bindings can be changed in the KSettings.ini


Other Option
If you change ANY_CAR in the KSettings.ini to TRUE you can press Num+ while you are in a Car to give this Vehicle KITT's Abilitys.
(Not every Ability works)

    @Rstein i don't know for sure, but i hope, a working smoke screen will be implemented.
    There's a long list of things, that could be implemented, but it takes a lot of time and i think 3id is working alone on this mod.

    Here is my List of KITT abilities, we had in the mod for gta sanandreas:

    - scaleable Turbo Boost (in addition to the self adjusting Turbo Boost we already have)
    - Turbo Boost for faster acceleration with sound
    - KITT Engine shutdown/startup with original sounds
    - smoke screen
    - oil slick
    - Pursuit Mode
    - Super Pursuit Mode with animation
    - Emergency braking system with animation
    - Convertible Mode with animation
    - moveable T-tops with animation
    - Silent Mode
    - Laser
    - Flame thrower
    - fire extinguisher (for KITT aswell, now we only have it for KI3T)
    - Traction Spikes
    - Calling semi function (so that the Semi arrives nearby)
    - Hacking Police frequency with original sound
    - better micro jam, that only affects one target with original sound and the following options:
    -> turn engine off
    -> block brakes
    -> block brakes and stop engine
    -> destroy wheels
    -> lock/unlock doors
    - maybe some sort of vigilante missions for kitt

    Lock/unlock doors sounds good to me! Silent Mode and the Fire Ext are pretty awesome for RP too.

    is there anyway that while in cruise mode you can change from abeying traffic laws to ignoring traffic laws such as running red lights and speeding

    i guess, you mean autocruise mode. yea, that would be very nice, but atm there is no such possibility.
    i could imagine, that you could change the script from normal traffic behavior to some sort of escaping behavior that includes ignoring traffic lights. you can bring other drivers to drive like that by shooting them or ramming sometimes, if i remember correctly. maybe 3id can tell you, if this can be implemented in his script.

    Ok did a fresh install of GTA 5 ran the game it loads up with no problems. Installed scripthookv and scripthookvdotnet ran the game it loaded up with no problems. Copied the scripts folder for Knight Rider: K.I.T.T [.NET] 3.0.3 mod to the folder with the GTA V.exe I ran the game and the game crashes. So i remove the scripts folder for Knight Rider: K.I.T.T [.NET] 3.0.3 and run the game and the game loads with no problems. I put he scripts folder back in start the game and again it crashes which leads me to believe something is messed up with this mod. Do i need to use this mod with another mod? Cause just putting the scripts folder in the same folder as GTA V.exe and running the game it makes the game crash.

    KITT and Simple Native Trainer doesn't play well together. When KITT's active, if you hit the INS key to remove the wanted level...*CRASH TO DESKTOP*.

    @SnakeFist i think, there is something missing, you have to copy in the main folder, that was not installed by the normal scripthook installation. i will check when i am back home

    @SnakeFist you need to copy the following files into the main folder:
    - dinput8.dll
    - ScriptHookV.dll
    - ScriptHookVDotNet

    maybe one of them wasn't included in your scripthookV download

    @SnakeFist well in this case, i only have on last idea:
    Try to rename the gta folder or install it into another folder. In some cases, gta 5 does not accept the changes, that were made ( i guess, there is a hidden settings- and/or restoration file somewhere)

    @EvolutionEpic It's where you have saved KITT/whatever car you have this mod active on. If I enable the KR mod on my Ingot ingame and then go out, it shows where you left him.

    Cool shit, aside that the "Follow Player" function of this mod is quite buggy and sometimes won't work.

    Another bug I found: the rear windows of cars like the Ingot are not entirely bulletproof. While they protect you from getting hurt, visually they break. Pretty immersion breaking for me, really.
