Turn Signals — Turn Signal Sound, Automatic Cancellation 1.1

Simple, lightweight, manual turn signals, turn signal sounds and with realistic auto-cancel!
This isn't just another blinker mod! No automatic signals, no menus, no unnecessary complexity. You decide when to signal, just like in a real car, and (also like a real car) the indicator switches itself off once you've finished your turn. It also has a turn signal sounds feature!
The auto-cancel system uses steering behaviour to distinguish actual turns from ordinary steering adjustments. Lane changes and gentle bends should leave your indicator on, so you can switch it off yourself when you're done.

Features
- Left, Right and Hazard lights — Everything you need, without unnecessary extras.
- Realistic auto-cancel — Once you've turned about 60° towards the signalled side, the indicator switches off as you straighten out. It uses both the turn angle and steering-return rate to determine when to cancel.
- Turn Signal Sounds — The tick-tock sound of the turn signals is quite satisfying, innitt? It also has the knob sounds when turning on indicators and after turning it off. Credits: The_Little_Spyro for giving me permission to distribute his Turn Signal Sound mod under my page :D
- Controller support — D-pad controls by default, with an optional modifier button (e.g. holding LB) that blocks other vehicle actions while held. Not tested yet, since I don't have a controller, so feedback is welcome!
- Fully customisable — Change keys, controller buttons, auto-cancel settings, turn angle and sensitivity in the .ini file.
- Cars and bikes supported
- No menus — Just press a key or button and get on with driving.
- Supports both Legacy and Enhanced
Default Controls
Keyboard (NumLock must be ON)
- NumPad1 — Left indicator
- NumPad2 — Hazard lights
- NumPad3 — Right indicator
Controller
- D-pad Left — Left indicator
- D-pad Down — Hazard lights
- D-pad Right — Right indicator
Requirements
- ScriptHookV
- ScriptHookVDotNet 3 (SHVDN3) — Recent versions require .NET Framework 4.8.
Installation
- Make sure you have the requirements listed above.
- Drag and drop everything inside the scripts folder. If you don't have one, create one.
- Launch the game and enjoy!
Auto-Cancel Settings
You can customise the behaviour in "Turn Signals.ini":
- Degrees — How far you must turn before auto-cancel is armed. Default: 60. Lower it if you want shallower turns or slip roads to trigger cancellation more easily.
- StraightenRate — How quickly you must straighten the steering before the indicator cancels. Default: 10.
- AutoCancel — Enable or disable automatic cancellation entirely.
Recommended Mods — Complete Your Driving Experience
- Flash High Beams by Safwat (me) — One of the most essential car features alongside turn signals!
- IV Style Exit Vehicle
These are optional recommendations, not bundled features. Combine them to build a more complete driving experience.

I put this in my scripts folder and my story mode crashes, Black screen to Desktop. I'm on GTA 5 Enhanced.
@Cherry4754353453 Well in that case, either this mod doesn't work on Enhanced, or you do not have the pre-requisites installed for the Enhanced version. I believe it's the former, however.
@Eoin Gaming It was on my end, Sorry. I fixed it, Mod works, though some cars have blinkers in back only, not front and they are very dull in daytime.
@Cherry4754353453 Oh great! Glad it works! Thank you for letting me know.
And for those reasons, that's not my fault; that's the game's fault. My mod's intention is to simply use the blinkers. There are other mods, I think, which can fix the brightness issue, like this mod (I haven't tried it though):
https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/vehicles-light-mod
@Cherry4754353453 Regarding the missing blinkers in certain vehicles, there may be certain "Lore-Friendly" vehicle mods that replace the in-game car.
Those mods' main goal is to improve the features of the vehicles, including possibly introducing missing indicator lights
@Eoin Gaming Know any good ones? I would love suggestions.
@Cherry4754353453 No clue, bro, for Lore-friendly vehicles, I only use Addon versions, not replace versions. The ones I use are listed below:
- Benefactor Imperial: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/benefactor-imperial-add-on-tuning-liveries-lods
- Benefactor Jogger: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/benefactor-jogger-add-on-tuning-liveries-lods
- Benefactor Schweizer: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/benefactor-schweizer-pack-add-on-sounds
Benefactor is the Mercedes equivalent in-game
- Karin Everon Stock: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/karin-everon-stock-add-on
- Karin Dilettante DX: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/karin-dilettante-dx-add-on-liveries-tuning
Karin is the Toyota equivalent in-game
Please note that these are add-on versions and have nothing to do with the issues you mentioned
@Eoin Gaming
Hello, are the on-screen keyboard display and the indication of which keys are being pressed part of a debugging script from your mod?
It looks really nice.
@RemixPL1994 It was used as a demonstration, especially of how the auto-cancel feature works, where you don't have to press keys to turn it off. And no, this is not a part of my mod; I had to use third-party software.
and thanks mate!
