@Nelson01023 If you have some time for manual editing, open "trains.xml", scroll down to the bottom, and find the "train_config_group" part. You'll see stuff like "shrt_wood01" "med_raw01" "long_tank01", etc. Remove all lines which contain either "long_" or "super_", and are not "streak" lines. If it still crashes you can try removing "med_" aswell. If you have any questions feel free to ask further.
@SnoIcarus not in this one, though if you edit "traintracks.xml" with notepad, there's an item in there called "tracks1.dat", and under it is the speed which is 15 by default. You can set that up higher and it will work.
@Official General If you want to use Stations of San Andreas with this mod, the most important thing you need to install is "tracks1.dat" from THAT mod. That's the file that tells the trains where to stop.
@N19626 I meant the entire config file. If you don't want it public you could DM it to me on the forums.
@N19626 Can't really tell like this, can I see your config file?
@Gumballguy34 If you use OpenIV's MODS folder, you will be able to toggle it on and off as the default files are preserved.
@OhLeakz Did you make sure the game is using the modified common.rpf archive?
@OhLeakz Alright, can you try spawning a custom model with a trainer? If you're using Menyoo it should automatically display the models in the Trains section, otherwise spawn a model directly called "freightc".
If you can see a custom engine that means the models work. And if that's the case, and you installed into the MODs folder, make sure you enabled the plugin in OpenIV which actually lets you use the folder. Though there should be a warning about it.
@HANYMRS Can you send a picture of this?
@OhLeakz If you can be more specific with the problem, I could.
