@gdfGDS44 it doesn't take the angle into account like InversePower and InverseTorque. Instead it uses longitudal (maybe lateral, too? been a while I've worked on it) tyre slip to calculate the needed power increase.
@Dinka_Blista huh, first time I see something like that. Are you sure my mod causes that?
@MD Makaveli try reloading physics in the trdv sctipt menu. You can also test if the inertia does(n't) change with Debugballs
@KCMIR0 Please explain further
@Y-NiNStaR wdym by ARS? A damage multiplier thingy would definitely be another mod. I won't add it here. Maybe I'll do it sometime
@jacksepticeyeGT can anyone confirm?
@Fareezbrent Yes and no. It should work if they're using non-dlc base engine sound. If not, the engine will sound as usual. Why that is and the difficulty of fixing is described somewhere in the comments here.
However, there might be a new way of increasing *all* engine sounds, just by increasing volume in config files, if I'm not mistaken. I've not been active in GTAV modding the last few month, but I think there was a thread on the forum here. Maybe you'll be able to find it.
@gdfGDS44 He's more of a vehicle handling parameters professional. This is more of an ptfx/custom (ped) animations thing. Most research into that stalled a few years back afaik. Here's an ptfx viewer if you're interested in the inner workings. https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/gta-v-ptfx
@gdfGDS44 not really. Creating custom visual effects seems to be broken in later versions of GTAV, or the documentation of them, that I've been able to find online is wrong. I only found one working smoke effect that at least somewhat resembles tyre smoke (used in the mod).
Even the regular burnout effect, while seemingly accessible by a script, just doesn't show in-game.
If someone has documentation how to call the regular burnout effect by a script I'd be happy to improve this mod, as it would be possible to simply make the original burnout and tyre smoke effects bigger.
@Xire unlikely. Try out v2, it works a lot more like Inverse Torque(power)
@FinnedOcean9389 should work the same as in my other mods. Check out the ini file of true realistic driving v
@Meepyneepy Can't find you. I'm rarely active on discord or here currently, but you can find me on ikt's server as any333
