Improved Police & Response is an immersive mod which tends to Improve the police in many different ways while at the same time making the game more immersive. IP&R also attempts to improve the game world by making police spawn in the streets, change the whole response system, and more!

@FL1K4 To uninstall it, you'll have to manually replace the modded files with the vanilla version. There's a manual installation provided, in that folder you can see all the files that the mod replaced, you just replace them back with the vanilla one. (Copy it from the original .rpf files and paste it in the modded ones)
@sneaks45 Just read your comment, saw you had a crashing issue. This should normally not happen unless you are using different police mods that replace the same game files. Make sure you don't have any incompatibilities.

@x_nog Possibly due to incompatibilities. All mods that also modify police behaviour or AI behaviour in general may cause issues and possibly crashes. It could also be because you are on an outdated version of GTA 5.

police patrols spawns more than people. WTF?
@hr75 Replace popgroups.ymt back with the vanilla file, I've been hearing its a compatibility issue that there's just more cops than civilians somehow.

@AidenDem also I was driving around for a bit but still haven't seen any cops patrolling on foot or in vehicle. I was also wondering if it's because I have better chases + arrest warrant installed?

@KoolzBruh242 You probably didn't install the mod correctly as it should be compatible, though there does seem to be some issues with certain better chases modules. I'd recommend using my other mod (Evolved Police Response) which adds in certain features from better chases and it's completely compatible with IP&R.

Installed your other mod and everything is working great. I did notice that some of the cars were like going slow, then sped up and continued this pattern for a bit, and one drove into a wall. I did have ignored by everyone and never wanted on so I'll test without. Other than that it works great with the other mods to make the police feel more realistic
@AidenDem Ok so for some reason my officers in cars drive around in circles continuously, or drive into walls and stay there or are parked on the sidewalk. I have your mod along with better chases+ and pull me over. are there any known issues of incompatibility or is there a setting I need to adjust?
@KoolzBruh242 It might be due to incompatibilities, though I think you might be confusing this mod with my other mod. (Evolved Police Response) As that mod has a known bug with the police patrols causing officers to drive around in circles for some reason. Please make sure you are talking about this mod.
@AidenDem yea I accidentally posted under this one but it was the evolved police that had them driving in circles, but when I use IP&R I don't see any police patrolling like that. With EPR I only see them walking around at the beach area but not the city. I'll give IP&R another shot and see how it goes while I go through my mods to see if there was something I missed. Appreciate your responses to help
@AidenDem Absolutely love the mod bro, as for now i only found one problem in the recognition system script that even after you get busted, cops are still after you, so just as you're walking out the policestation after getting busted, i get the stars back rightaway. It's not something that would make me rate the mod badly, as i'm sure it's something not so difficult to fix :)

@AidenDem, sir there's an akward bug with the recognition system, after you get arrested by the police, the recognized status does not dissapear and player gets instantly a wanted level as soon as it spawns outside the police station. I don't know if you still work on this mod, but please check out this bug.

@Superbos88 Please do not use the recognition system, use Evolved Police Responses instead! It's also a mod made by me and it is an updated version of the 'recognition system' script. It addresses that bug as well.
