A standalone fuel system for GTA V story mode: real pumps, nozzle and hose, moving gas prices, your own pumps, card or cash.
Features
- Fuel that matters: cars burn fuel by RPM, vehicle class and fuel type. An empty tank stalls the engine, and diesel trucks need diesel.
- Real pumps: press E at any gas pump. The camera moves in and the pump screen opens with fuel type, price, station stock, your tank, and your card and cash.
- Nozzle and hose: carry the nozzle to the fuel cap and fill up. Hang it back on the pump and you get money back for fuel you paid for but didn't use.
- Exact to the litre: the top of the amount is a full tank. You pay for exactly what's missing and the car ends at exactly 100%.
- Moving gas prices: real US or Canadian averages (or your own fixed prices) that change every in-game day, with refinery fires, hurricanes and crude crashes. Big moves show up as Weazel News.
- Card or cash: both come from your character's money. Optional card fee.
- Jerry cans: buy one at the pump and refuel anywhere.
- Your own pumps: place a working pump anywhere (MLO garages, farms, helipads) with a live see-through preview. Move or remove them any time.
- FlareFuel menu (F7): move and resize the fuel gauge, refuel card, pump screen and notifications with a live preview. Drag pieces with the mouse.
- Full controller support: every screen, including choosing card or cash and placing pumps.
Requirements
- Grand Theft Auto V for PC, story mode (Legacy or Enhanced)
- Script Hook V
- Script Hook V .NET Enhanced
- Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime (already on most Windows 10 and 11 PCs)
- Screen Type set to Windowed Borderless (the pump screen is an overlay)
Installation
- Open your GTA V folder and go into scripts.
- Copy FlareFuel.dll into scripts.
- Copy the FlareFuel folder (with the WebView2 folder inside) into scripts.
- Start the game. FlareFuel.ini is created on first start.

Controls
- Pump: E to use. Arrows or D-pad for fuel type and amount. F / X fills the tank, J / Y buys a jerry can, Enter / A confirms.
- Paying: click, or Left / Right then Enter / A, to pick card or cash.
- Menu: F7 (changeable in the ini).
- Placing a pump: Q / E or LB / RB rotate, R / F or D-pad Up / Down for height, Left / Right for model, Enter / A to place, Esc / B to cancel.
