This script requires ScriptHookVDotNet. Drop the .dll and .ini files inside the "/scripts" folder.
This mod allows you to freeze time while being able to move freely by pressing a single key. By default this key is X. You can change it in the .ini file. Objects/vehicles/peds in motion will remain in motion when you unfreeze time. Also works with trains and helicopters. Freezes RPG/grenades/molotovs/grenade launcher objects, but beware that RPG and grenades are timed to explode regardless if frozen or not.
Known issues:
Distance vehicles slowly move/merge into the ground/float at random.
Performance issues when freezing/unfreezing.
Animations on peds sometimes keep running.
Peds in vehicles sometimes disappear but they reappear after a while.
You cannot jack frozen vehicles. The ped will get ejected after unfreezing the vehicles.
Sometimes resuming rotational momentum on entities messes up.
Big airplanes in the distance fall out of the sky when unfreezing. No clue why.
I plan on fixing the majority of these issues very soon.

needs update. crashes game
It crashes my game anytime I try and pause time but it has a lot of potential
Open source it. The community might have a great shot at fixing it.
Will this ever be updated to fix animations that are still running?
Has a lot of potential but it's kind of annoying when the animations keep playing and the fact that the sounds don't stop playing. it also crashes a lot. still really good and fun!
but it's unfortunately probably never getting updated since that's from 4 years ago

I really, really hope this gets an update because if this mod worked better it would be extremely fun. I understand if the creator doesn't have time to update but if that's the case just open source it. I'm sure the community would do a great job on fixing the issues.
It's really sad seeing a mod with so much potential just get abandoned. I'd love to see these issues getting fixed. I would even pay to download this mod if it was perfect.
I was wondering, Simple trainer has a option called freeze game. It just does exactly what the name suggests, freezing the whole game.
Wouldn't it be possible to just find that code or whatever and modify it so the player could move around? If someone can make a mod that's perfect like that I promise I'd pay to download it. I'm sorry if I'm just talking shit I really don't know much about mod making and how difficult it is. But anyways, That's my idea.
@fogsjojo you would think it works like that, but trainers and such time modifications are based off timescale, which affects everything in the game and cant be changed seperately for objects
hi everyone for this mod i found a way to reduce the crash of this mod (i dont know if its working for you) start by installing the latest versions of the script hook v script hook donet (don't forget required programs)nativeui and gameconfig. drag the files into your folder except the gameconfig we will use it on open IV. I advise you to create a mods folder just in case. In the mods folder on open iv you need to create a copy of the update folder you find in your gta. Then go to mods / update / update.rpf / common / data and replace the gameconfig. you will then modify the archive count to better stabilize gta with its there is no longer any need for the packfile limit adjuster (if you want to keep it then do not do this manipulation) edit on the gameconfig ctrl a, ctrl f and write archive count and calculate the value in x5 after changing the value in x5 click on save and you can launch gta. I can tell you I am very interested in this mod and you are right it needs to be updated so during this time I have been looking a lot for solution for this mod until it is a little better with its j have no crashes on it to try if you write its working.
I took at least 4 or 5 months to find a solution before posting the coppentary I tried to verify and for me it works perfectly

I suggest when you freeze time and go in a car, you can drive it around freely without freezing like other cars.
