- Peds will spawn around the player and fight each other.
Features
- Tested to be working with latest game version (2189.0)
- Default settings work well with low end systems (tested with i5 3570 - 8gb ddr3 - ssd with sata 3gbs - integrated graphics)
- Wanted levels on or off
- Peds get deleted if the player gets too far away from them to avoid lag and crashes
- 5 customizable factions and civilian rioters
- Modify the ped spawning distance, fighting range, culling distance
- Change the models and weapons for any faction
- Add On models supported
- Determine the peds health, body armor and accuracy
- Faction diplomacy (allies and enemies)
- Change if a faction attacks the player or not
- Blips on peds (also ability to change what their name is)
- Built in bodyguard spawner
- peds have a chance of getting weapon attachments (ini configurable)
- Helicopters spawn and attack peds
Upcoming features
- Add planes and ground vehicles
- Fix any bugs that may appear

helicopters with side passenger capacity have peds shooting while on their sides just like the wanted level variant

1. Install Script Hook V and Script Hook V Dot Net
2. Put RiotMode.dll and RiotMode.ini in your script folder inside the main GTA folder
3. Press F7 in an offline game to start the riot
- Press F7 again to delete all riot peds/vehicles and turn everything back to normal
- Edit the .ini to your preferences

If you're seeing peds with melee weapons not doing anything, open up your gameconfig.xml file with OpenIV and find the following line:
CombatMeleeManager_Groups
bellow it there's a line with "PoolSize value="3"". Replace the 3 with 20 and you're set.
Possible update to have add on police cars and choppers... and if we want military or not
@Yogeshk the #1 request i'm looking into. The #2 you can configure what a faction looks like and what weapons it uses. It's just that i made faction 3 to be the military as a example of what can be done with the mod.
@Aldebaraan Ok, great mod! i like all the customization options i use it for roleplaying against gangs ant it works awesomely. Just one question. Can you explain a bit better what idle and riot intervals are? Time between spawn waves? And I had just one issue with the police. I seem to get stars even if in the settings "disablecops" is set to "true". Any idea why?

Is the interval that the main script will check for things like:
- If a faction has less members that their MaxMembers variable. If yes, the script will spawn peds of that faction until they reach their MaxMembers value.
- The amount of dead peds that a faction has. It will remove them from the list that they are in (also their blips from the map if they have any) so that more members of that faction can be spawned in their place.
- It will remove any ped that is far away from the player (PedCullingDistance).
- It checks if the ped is idle and not doing anything and forces them to fight with nearby peds.
The default value is good already. It will take 1.3-1.5 seconds for the script to complete all of that. So you won't even notice unless you have showBlipsOnPeds set to true.
Note: when you are in a vehicle the value will be set to the idle interval regardless if the riots are on or not. I did this because when you are moving around in high speeds there's not the necessity of spawning frequently and also reduces the strain on the game engine.
Also, peds won't spawn when you are in a plane, helicopter or boat. This is because they spawned in mid air falling to their deaths so i removed that.
@Aldebaraan Thank you for the explanation. I've seen what you mean by "fallin to their death". It happens also when i am on a building or higher on a tower. They spawn in the air at the same player level. Thanks again!

hey, really like the mod :) however one thing does not seem to be working. I have set Attackplayer to false for the rabble group, but they still attack me, maybe that is because they attack everyone? i could set them to not attack their own group though. Is it possible to somehow set myself as an ally of a certain group? then i would not always have to be the one that has to fight everyone else ;)
idk how ur running this script without crashing, but everytime I do, the amount of things spawning is insanely taxing to the game, and it crashes after a few minutes. I can usually predict this when the map starts to glitch out and the lods starts to get worse. Perhaps you can make an alternative config that is less taxing on the system? Thanks.
It seems I run into the disappearing texture issue even before enabling the mod with F7. I continuously see errors that certain peds and vehicles don't exist as Rockstar might have changed their names throughout the updates. They are known to mess around changing things that break certain mods. There are also 2 .txt plain text logs being kept in the scripts folder which could be growing exponentially and could be the root of the texture problem. Maybe logging every single step the mod takes is too heavy for the system.
