@LTK_JADE that's weird and definitely shouldn't happen at all. something might be causing issues with the script or could be another mod conflicting or something else interfering.
Also just to clarify, some weapons will fall back to either a simple or complex crosshair depending on the weapon class. for example the musket will fall back to using the simple or complex crosshair because even though it's under the shotgun category, it's actually classified as a sniper group internally.
@Yunyun like i mentioned in the description, i'll be updating the mod regularly as new GTA 6 gameplay footage surfaces. that means i'll add the remaining weapon reticles and yes, military vehicle ones too exactly as you suggested.
@LTK_JADE can you be more specific? like it happens with the custom crosshair or the default aim dot? and does it happen while aiming or when not aiming? or does it hide when you fully scope in first person and when using which gun?
if the crosshair disappears on submachine guns and ARs until you fire a shot, that's because the texture size is too small to actually see. if it's happening during full scoping, that's intentional as i made it hide during full scope positions since it looks weird otherwise.
I'm almost done updating the mod and this issue will be fixed. i'm adding a separate aimdot so it'll be much clearer. plus the new update will have polished hitmarkers and some brand new systems.
@gamerboymuhammadpro currently i don't have plans to make an OIV for it yet, but as the mod gets updated more and more i'll look into making one. There's no fixed version for it right now, but you can expect it around v0.6 or later versions or maybe even sooner depending on how things go.
@smorusantot123 The update is almost complete and i'm adding some new features which is taking a bit more time, but it should be published soon.
@Lunch3y Are you on v0.1 or v0.1.1? if you're on 0.1, download the current v0.1.1 and try.
If you're already on the latest version then the script probably isn't initializing properly. do you see any Script Hook V .NET warnings when the game loads? also which version of Script Hook V .NET are you running – Nightly or Enhanced?
if you're using Nightly i'd strongly recommend switching to the updated Script Hook V .NET Enhanced by chiheb-bacha. it works much better on both Legacy and Enhanced GTA V. If you still have issues join my discord and send me your scripthookvdotnet.log
@Lunch3y i need more details to help you out. is the crosshair not visible at all? are white textures appearing? is the game crashing? let me know exactly what's happening and i'll try to figure it out.
@redemption Thank You : )
@B1gstinker Ok it's probably checking the weapon ready state. I'm tweaking the aim detection logic right now so it only pops up strictly when holding Right Click. An update with the fix will be up soon!
@gelloboi open OpenIV and navigate to:
mods\update\update.rpf\x64\data\cdimages\scaleform_generic.rpf
turn on edit mode from the top toolbar, then drag and drop the VicePoint.ytd file from the appropriate folder – use the one from the Legacy folder if you're playing on legacy or the one from the Enhanced folder if you're on Enhanced.
