Featuring vast highway lighting expansions and thousands of meticulously placed detail lights across the map, this mod aims to add a much more immersive and vibrant night-time experience.
Whether you prefer the orange colored HPS lights or a more natural LED look, the choice is yours. Both versions of this mod will offer the same amount of map coverage, it just depends on the type of atmosphere you want!
For more illustration, here is an album i put together to highlight as much as possible.
Added lighting areas include:
- Streets, rural roads and highways
- Buildings, parking lots, skate parks, paths, and alleyways
- Houses. Many more people will now leave their porch or garage light on :)
- Six gas stations
- LS Airport pick-up/drop-off entrances
- Richman golf course
- Richman Hotel
- Marina
- Michael's house
- Franklin's house (and neighbors)
- Hundreds of other houses.
- 'Island' community off Palomino Ave.

Version 1.3 (Number of lights: 4420)
-added an HPS lighting option.
-added more lights across the map and now rural areas such as Grapeseed.
-changed more lighting configurations based on real cities and some based on my own judgement.
-rebuilt oldest and largest map file because it became corrupt.

-fixed a number of imperfectly positioned lights.

- Xml files converted to YMap add-on, courtesy of mapeditor to ymap converter by sollaholla.
- Added a lot more lighting.
- Added a 'lite' option with roughly 400 less lights than the full version.

-Scrapped 0.0.3 map file and made a new one with better lighting, in better areas.
-Replaced much of the HPS (High-pressure sodium) lamps in 0.0.2 with LED lights
-Added another 600 or so lights total.
-The docks at the harbor in Vespucci are now lit up, and so boats parked there become illuminated
-Nearby parking lots and walkways around harbor also have more lighting
-Lights added all along the walkways/bridges around the man-made islands in Vespucci.
-Added lights to more gas stations around the city
-Upper level of airport is illuminated, but the lower part is not unfortunately, until next update.
-Check out Franklin's back yard..

I just installed it and works great with visualv and nvr and all the extras from nvr. Great job

i went on to open IV went to where the file of this was and it wasnt there in package installer im very confused

I've installed using OIV, but i don't see any change in game. I went with LED so it should be obvious, and the install instructions don't get any easier. I even tried manually. No change.
Hey i have installed this mod but there is a problem half of my lights are yellow and the other half is led (how it should be). I installed it manually and tried the oiv, what do i have to change to make all lights LED?. There is also a problem with the cones of the lights (thats not from your mod) but do you know which settings affect the cones/rays of the streetlight. I really want the look of your mod like on the photos.

@Utiysa The mod is not complete, the mod does not deal with textures but lines of code, and putting all possible lights on the map requires a lot of time. For some reason the author has stopped updating, so we have to accept the limitations of the mod until it is updated and who knows how to finalize.

does this mod conflict with LA Revo 2.0? I get CTD but can't figure out why.
How can i get rid of those extra street lights... I'm using quantv + city lights mod. Due to this, they are turning off just when i pass by them. It's annoying. Can anyone help pls

@GouthamJalli Ya, sorry to hear that, it is an extremely annoying problem. Inearly scrapped my entire mod until i found what seemed to universally fix the issue (for most people). Basically it's a line in the gameconfig.xml file that you need to change. Look for item 'LightEntity' and increase it's poolsize value to something like 6000. If it is already that, then i am not sure what to tell you beyond the likelihood of it being a mod incompatibility issue. I have been meaning to test this with several different mods to attempt to fix any issues but haven't had time. My apologies.

@VisualParadox First of all, thank you for responding. I've performed a clean install of mods from scratch. Through the process of elimination, I found out that it isn't your mod that's conflicting with my quantv, instead, it's this New Realistic Traffic Lights mod ( https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/new-realistic-traffic-lights ).
@VisualParadox Your mod is great. But please complete your mod. Are you gonna update your mod?
@asif_002 What do you mean "complete"? If you are referring to the distant LODs and having the LODs seamlessly blend with the rest of the game, that is something above my head. I am very sorry, i would loved more than anything to figure that out and i reached out to the Codewalker community for advise or help and i just couldn't figure it out. I sure as heck aren't going to start the mod from scratch in Codewalker to get proper LODs.
