Important:
The Enhanced version of the game has issues with this mod.
I played for both short and long periods of time and the game crashed, multiple times, at the same spot and then other times it kept playing fine.
With that said, I decided that while I will keep making updates for both versions of the game, I do NOT recommend using this mod (and Map Fixes) with GTA 5 Enhanced.
I'm sorry, I'm not seeing a "dlclist.xml" file?
does this Fix Hair pixelation?
I'm playing on legacy build 2189 (~v1.52), I've noticed that Map Fixes MP fixes have a min required version of 2545 so I skipped the MP fixes (hopefully the SP fixes still work for my version). However I'm unsure about Buigstar fixes, would this be supported for build 2189?
@riverxking You can find it in "mods\update\update.rpf\common\data"
@JesseGamesz No
@cntkillme Yes, the spmapfixes DLC will work and same goes for Bugstar Fixes.
As for the files in the OIV package, I recommend to install them manually (since there's multiple files not present in that build and it could either fail to install or the game might have issues)
When you go to install this with the OIV package installer, it produces an error, and whatever is not being installed properly is important enough to cause both this and map fixes to have no affect on the game.
@vanthegamingman Which game version and build you have? And which error exactly?
@Alex106 Hello there,
Would it be possible to fix the trailer's lights, specifically the tail lights and indicators?
=> The trailer's tail lights only light up at night when the vehicle it's attached to has its headlights turned on. Is it possible to make them light up during the day as well?
=> The trailer's indicators don't seem to work at all. I’m guessing it might be a model issue, as I tried activating the indicators through a trainer, but nothing happens
Would it be possible to fix these issues? It would be lovely. :)
@EzX_GTA I don't know if it can be fixed, I need to look into it
@Alex106 Would you mind looking into it when you get a chance, mate? I would be extremely grateful if you could 😊
using the enhanced version. Did the modified graphics.ytd bring over the black lines bug similar to what visual paradise had? Because i'm having it right now. Bugstar and Map fixes are the only mods i have installed right now
@ProbablyWorth In theory it should be fixed (both this and Visual Paradise use this new YTD as a base)
Does it still lhappen with the latest version of Visual Paradise as well?
So which of these am I supposed to use for Enhanced?
- HeapAdjuster Enhanced (Outdated)
- Packfile Limit Adjuster Enhanced (outdated)
- Resource Extensions (says not to use it with gameconfig, heapadjuster or packfile)
- Custom Gameconfig (outdated can't find a recent one)
@mykehdoom The first two aren't outdated.
For the gameconfig, this one is updated https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/expanded-enhanced-gameconfig-gta-5-enhanced
As for Resource Extentions (I hadn't read the mention of not using any limit adjusters), try just with that and in case the game crashes, remove it and use the limit adjusters + gameconfig instead
@Alex106 Yes it happens on the latest version of visual paradise. I don't actually know anything but is it because of the film grain?
@ProbablyWorth No, it's not caused by that optional.
I just can't seem to able to reproduce this issue
I know it's probably caused by the graphics.ytd, but do you have other mods/files that change anything graphics related?
Also, can you upload a screenshot?
@Alex106 I was referring to the film grain of the main file. Visual Paradise is my only graphical mod https://imgur.com/a/P4fqkXi The black lines aren't fixed in that position in the screenshot and move around
@ProbablyWorth It looks more like a texture being rendered (for whatever reason) rather than something caused by the timecycles or some other data files.
All I can recommend for now is to use the original graphics.ytd
@Alex106
I just wanted to say https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/resource-extensions
Works fine standalone for your bugstar and map fixes. Nothing else required.
Can confirm the game seems to be more stable with just resource extensions
@mykehdoom @ProbablyWorth Good to know, I updated the requirements again, thanks.
