I've added multiple animations to the .ini config file, and you can now make your gang idle with you.
Just a little script based on a request from Zippo Raid.
If you idle for more than ten seconds, your character will start smoking. Moving or being ragdolled will cancel the animation.

Put both "Idle Animations - Player.dll" and "IdleAnimations.ini" inside the /scripts folder. Edit IdleAnimations.ini to your likings.
Then, just idle for about 10 seconds while ingame.

@Eddlm nice mod and idea!
It would be cool if theres a version where I could manually pick the animation from a menu, at any given time.
I know theres a mod already for that, and I use it, but its limited and it seems like it wont get updated anymore.
Also, if this menu could include animations that would let you interact with the enviroment, it would be even more amazing! For example, a sitting feature, so when you are near a bench or something, and you pick the sitting option, the character would sit on it.
A bigger mod with all the possible animations to interact with the enviroment would be the most needed thing, at least for roleplayers like me, haha. (This would save me/us from having 10 dif mods just for this kind of stuff).
@gunziness Honestly you can do most of that with a single trainer. This script is based on a suggestion from Zippo Raid, and just does what he asked.
You can pick the animations yourself, Check the IdleAnimations.ini file.

This is so great, I even able to add several animation like playing mobile phone, etc. But I have a major problem, if I change skins and animations clipset from the trainer, the idle animations will never work until I restart the game, is there any fix to make the idle animations always available even if I change skins and animation clipset? That's gotta be great!
@Eddlm is it possible that you can do a version that will only do the Police animations ( like holding their belt, looking around, smoking, taking on the radio) things like that?
@Dippa71 I don't need do do any version, you can configure this one to do that yourself.
Go http://gtaforums.com/topic/796181-list-of-scenarios-for-peds/ , get the scenarios you want, then put them in IdleAnimations.ini.

So simple, so effective - just one small problem:
After I get out of a car the idle starts immediately, maybe becuase the player is not moving while in a car so the "TimetoIdle" is already passed?
@Eddlm Great mod, but I seem to trigger animations while on missions (while not controlling the character!) or driving cars. This results in the character "frozen" when action starts (unable to move). It also messes various cutscenes (character stands up inside vehicle in the middle of a cutscene to play animation, clipping through the roof).
Wholeheartedly concur with @nkjellman: "you should make attempting to move the character cancel it." This would at least fix the first issue.

Dude it was a really a nice mod . It's even better if u just add a key to start and end the idle . just like the player can drink water , smoke and dance when press the key at everywhere . it wil more awesome if u made that. The idea was very good to have own choice of animation in .ini file .

Nice mod, however trying to cancel the animation by walking/running pauses for about 5 seconds. I was really hoping to keep this mod installed, but I fear that it gives the police an extra chance to shoot me.
@Eddlm It is saying at change log that idle in car has been fixed but it is still happening for me am i missing something or it is just me ?
@Eddlm The smoking one and the drinking one don't seem to work and I think some other animations are not working either. When I first installed it I didn't make any changes to the ini and the only animation that kicked in was the impatient one and kept doing that same animation, didn't switched to any other ones. So I exited out the game and deleted all of 'em except the "WORLD_HUMAN_AA_SMOKE" one from the ini, went back in the game and this time nothing happened while idling. I think the only animation that's working is the impatient one which I don't like that much. I was hoping he would start smoking or drinking shorthly after 15 seconds but he didn't. I don't know why is not working properly. I have the 1.0.1868.1 patch, btw.

@JAM102970 Looking at the source code, it seems like this uses TASK_PLAY_SCENARIO, which means it can only play scenario animations. I'm guessing normal animations that isn't 'scenario' will not work.
@Eingenvector But on the description for the 1.2 Update it clearly says that if you idle for more than then seconds the character starts smoking, that's why I downloaded and installed it in the first place. Maybe is misinformation on the author's part or the mod just doesn't work properly anymore.
@JAM102970 The smoking one (WORLD_HUMAN_AA_SMOKE) works for me, I tried other scenario animations like cop idle, they work as well. However, it won't work on non scenario animations like hood dance, which makes this mod too limited.
