Description
A tiny utility for easy switching between Rockstar Games Launcher, Steam, Epic Games Launcher with just only one game installation.
You don't have to install this pretty big game for each launcher and consume so much disk space by duplicating game files.
You can just manage all launcher editions by using one game installation and just switching platform-specific files. It saves so much time you'd spend by downloading and fighting stupid issues.
Guide
It's complain to give a text here, just watch entirely one of these tutorials if you have game installed from:
Steam - https://youtu.be/12D6Dzm94Ns
Rockstar Games Launcher - https://youtu.be/be6NTGniXjM
Epic Games Launcher - https://youtu.be/eU_xPIpNRgw
Requirements
- 64-bit Windows 10 (Windows 7 wasn't tested)
- .NET Framework 4.8
FAQ
Q. Why are these tutorials so difficult?
A. There is needed to force all platforms using same game folder and making Rockstar Games Launcher determine all of them as installed. I recommend you to watch the tutorial entirely without any actions, and start doing all at second watch, or if you’re not so fast, set speed to 0,75x or 0,5x.
Note: «Move» in tutorials is NOT copy+paste (Ctrl+C, then Ctrl+V), it’s cut+paste (Ctrl+X, then Ctrl+V)
Q. How to determine what’s my current version of Switcher and files?
A. Switcher version can be seen in Help — About at bottom left, files versions are shown in main window
Changelog
Can be found in About - How to use
GTA5-Mods special changelog:
• 1.0.0.2189.0 - Contains Switcher executable version 0.0.7 with game files version 1.0.2089.0
• 1.0.0.2060.1 - Contains Switcher executable version 0.0.7 with game files version 1.0.2060.1

Excuse me, I have a question ... I was banned for 2 years from steam gta online, then when the epic one came out for free but I am without gpu and therefore I cannot test the game whether or not I have a banned account .. . Do I have to create another account of 0 or is there a way to use the online with another or the same account? I wonder why I don't know ... or do you know another program to remove the ban? They banned me because a hacker entered my solo game (I took screenshots) and they banned me permanently and since rockstar does not answer I could never clarify the situation: /
I have epic and RGL versions instaled, no clue how to use this :(
one question i used to play on xbox one but i just switched to computer so ive lost everything would this help me get that back?
i got ban from gta v (steam) so if i transfer it to epic, can it will unban my account plz reply
@zimb i don't think so
its virus?
@nite129 Correct tutorial is "Over <platform you already have installed>" with skipping parts of edition you don't have.
@maurim3gtr This tool doesn't affect account anyhow and can't ban/unban. Rockstar has policy where Every Social Club account can have only one license (Rockstar/Steam/Epic). Switcher is for just for files, accounts management is on your side.
@Biggdogg Done.
@KeyVanessa Uninstall one of your installations and watch tutorial "Over <platform you have left installed>".
@zimb No, Switcher is for PC platforms.
@mraaz This tool doesn't affect account anyhow and can't ban/unban.

@Lurendrag no, this

I was doing this and I messed up at some point causing Rockstar to request an activation code when I launch it on steam. I've played on the account many times before, got a fix?
once i switch it to steam, can i delete epic games or do i still need that for a license verificaton?
man. there is something called GoG galaxy. does the same thing and more.
@MDextreme You're thinking of multiple installations, this mod actually makes the game switch versions with a single installation.
@Think_Tank Help me please, I don't understand how to use this, I already said I own rgl and epic (no steam version) both installed in C and D partitions so I don't know how to start :(
@KeyVanessa to start with, uninstall any of them (steam or epic for your choice, but it's easier to uninstall epic games edition, and watch tutorial "Over Steam". Make sure you have >90 GB free on partition with steamapps containing GTAV or it will be some more difficult to handle with)
@MDextreme Does GOG Galaxy allow you to install all three editions to same folder? I don't think so
@_Grassy_ make sure your files (current platform) + account combinations are same
@Giratin after switching from Steam to Epic, launch game and log in to Rockstar account linked to Epic Games (already linked to Steam or with Social Club license won't work)
To use the steam version, do i need to buy it on steam first ?
I already have epic game version
Has break my game for now on, working on a way to lunch it. thank you anyway
do i need to buy the steam version before switching over?
I own the epic games version. Do I need the purchase the steam version to switch to it?
Could I play without internet? I mean, I have the Epic Game version but when I start without internet it doesn't let me play until get internet conexion. Can I skip that with this?
@MythicHyperion @DeXtRo13 @sami23 You have to use account on target launcher that already owns GTAV. Switcher is not license transfer tool.
@Lorence for installation internet connection is required, but I don't know how do different launchers behave without connection. The only I can say is that Switcher is definitely not for this purpose
